3. Compatibilitat

This device is designed for vehicles equipped with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto functionality. It is generally compatible with cars from 2018 and newer. Please verify your vehicle's infotainment system before purchase.

3.1 Notes importants de compatibilitat

• Wired CarPlay Requirement: The CarPlay box defaults to supporting original cars with wired CarPlay.
• Wired Android Auto Conversion: If your vehicle only supports wired Android Auto, or supports both wireless CarPlay and wired Android Auto, you may need to convert the device's port using a TF card with a specific reverse file. Instructions for this conversion are provided in Section 4.2.

4.1 Initial Connection (Plug and Play)

1. Ensure your vehicle's engine is running or the ignition is in accessory mode.
2. Locate the USB port in your vehicle that supports OEM wired CarPlay or Android Auto.
3. Connect the BINIZE CarPlay AI Box to this USB port using the provided USB cable (USB-A or USB-C, depending on your vehicle).
4. The device will power on, and an interface will appear on your car's display.
5. On your car's screen, click on the 'Autokit' icon to initiate the connection process.
6. On your mobile phone, search for the device's Bluetooth signal and pair with it. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the connection.

4.2 Switching Between CarPlay and Android Auto Modes

The device defaults to wired CarPlay functionality. If your vehicle primarily uses wired Android Auto, or if you need to switch modes, follow these steps:

1. Insert a TF card containing the appropriate reverse file (provided by BINIZE support or available for download) into the device's TF card slot.
2. Using a SIM card ejector tool or a similar thin object, gently press the small reset button located in a pinhole on the device. Hold until the screen changes or the device reboots.
3. The device will then switch to the desired mode (e.g., Android Auto).

If your vehicle supports both wired CarPlay and wired Android Auto, and you experience no response with one connection, try switching to the other functionality using the method described above.
