1. Introducció

The VEDINDUST Analog to Digital Audio Converter is designed to convert analog stereo audio signals from RCA L/R or 3.5mm jack inputs into digital Coaxial and Toslink SPDIF optical audio outputs simultaneously. This device allows you to connect older analog audio sources to modern digital audio systems like soundbars or amplifiers that only accept digital inputs.

Nota important: This product functions as an analog-to-digital converter only. It does not support digital-to-analog conversion (reverse transmission).

Front Panel (Audio Input)

• AUX (3.5mm Jack Input): Connects to devices with a 3.5mm audio output, such as smartphones, laptops, or MP3 players.
• RCA L/R (Red/White Jacks): Connects to devices with RCA stereo audio output, such as DVD players, TVs, or gaming consoles.

Rear Panel (Audio Output)

• USB (5V Power Input): Connects to the included 5V USB power cable for device operation.
• Optical Output (Toslink): Connects to digital audio receivers, soundbars, or amplifiers via an optical cable.
• Sortida coaxial: Connects to digital audio receivers, soundbars, or amplifiers via a coaxial cable.

4. Instruccions de configuració

Follow these steps to connect and set up your Analog to Digital Audio Converter:

4.1 Connexió d'alimentació

1. Connect the Micro Type B end of the provided USB power cable to the USB 5V Power Input port on the rear panel of the converter.
2. Connect the standard USB-A end of the power cable to a 5V USB power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter, TV USB port, or computer USB port). Ensure a stable power supply for optimal performance.

Choose one of the following input methods based on your source device:

• Using RCA L/R: Connect your analog audio source (e.g., DVD player, TV) to the RCA L/R Audio Input jacks on the front panel using an RCA stereo audio cable. Match the red plug to the 'R' (right) jack and the white plug to the 'L' (left) jack.
• Using 3.5mm Jack: Connect your analog audio source (e.g., smartphone, laptop) to the AUX 3.5mm Jack Input on the front panel using a 3.5mm audio cable.

4.3 Connexió de sortida d'àudio

Connect the converter to your digital audio receiving device:

• Using Optical Cable: Connect one end of the provided optical cable to the Sortida òptica port on the rear panel of the converter. Connect the other end to the optical input of your soundbar, amplifier, or digital audio receiver.
• Using Coaxial Cable (not included): Connect one end of a coaxial cable to the Sortida coaxial port on the rear panel of the converter. Connect the other end to the coaxial input of your soundbar, amplifier, or digital audio receiver.

The converter supports simultaneous optical and coaxial output.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Once all connections are made and the converter is powered on, the device will automatically convert the analog audio input to digital optical and coaxial outputs. No additional configuration is typically required on the converter itself.

• Ensure your source device is playing audio.
• Set your receiving digital audio device (soundbar, amplifier) to the correct input source (Optical or Coaxial).
• The converter supports uncompressed 2-channel LPCM digital audio signal output.
• Sortida sampling rate is supported at 96KHz.
