This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Melnor 65169AMZ Hydrologic Digital Timer. This device is designed to automate your watering schedule, ensuring efficient and consistent watering for your garden or lawn.

Configuració
1. Instal·lació de la bateria
The timer requires dues (2) piles AA (not included). To install:
- Localitza el compartiment de les piles a la part posterior del temporitzador.
- Obriu la coberta del compartiment.

2. Connexió a l'aixeta
Before connecting, ensure the filter washer is properly seated in the timer's inlet to prevent debris from entering the unit.

Attach the timer to your outdoor faucet by screwing it onto the faucet threads. Hand-tighten only to ensure a secure, leak-free connection. Do not overtighten.
3. Connecting Hose
Connect your garden hose to the outlet at the bottom of the timer. Ensure this connection is also hand-tightened to prevent leaks.

Instruccions de funcionament
The Melnor Hydrologic Digital Timer features a large LCD display and intuitive buttons for programming. The main dial allows you to navigate between different settings.

1. Configuració del rellotge
- Gireu el dial a CONFIGURA EL RELOJ.

2. Programming Watering Schedule
The timer allows for up to four individual start times per day and can be set to water on specific days of the week or every few days.

- Gireu el dial a COMENÇA AIGUA. Ús Amunt/Avall to set the desired start time for watering. You can set up to 4 start times. Press OK after each.
- Gireu el dial a QUANT TEMPS. Ús Amunt/Avall to set the duration for each watering cycle (e.g., 10 minutes). Press OK.
- Once all settings are configured, turn the dial to AUTO to activate the programmed schedule.
3. Reg manual
To manually water without affecting your programmed schedule:
- Gireu el dial a ON/OFF MANUAL.
- Premeu el botó OK button to start watering.
- Utilitza el Amunt/Avall arrows to adjust the manual watering duration.
- Premeu OK to confirm. The water will run for the set duration.
- To stop manual watering early, turn the dial to OFF.
4. Funció de retard per pluja
The rain delay feature allows you to pause your watering schedule for a set period to conserve water during rainy conditions.
- With the dial set to AUTO, manteniu premut el botó OK botó durant 3 segons.

- Premeu OK to confirm. The timer will resume its schedule after the delay period.

Manteniment
1. Atenció general
To ensure longevity and proper function of your timer:
- Store the timer indoors during fall and winter months to prevent damage from freezing temperatures.
- Avoid dropping the timer or subjecting it to harsh impacts.

Periodically check the filter washer located at the inlet of the timer for debris. A clogged filter can restrict water flow and affect performance. Clean it by rinsing under running water.
