Introducció

Welcome to your new FOHERE Steam Espresso Machine. This manual provides detailed instructions for safe operation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure you get the best experience from your espresso and cappuccino maker.

• Always ensure the control knob is in the "OFF" position to relieve pressure through the steam wand before removing the water tank cap or portafilter.

Components clau:

• Unitat principal: Houses the heating system and controls.

Instruccions de configuració

Abans del primer ús:

1. Desembaleu tots els components i traieu qualsevol material d'embalatge.
2. Clean the glass carafe, portafilter, and filter baskets with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Netegeu l'exterior de la unitat principal amb anuncisamp tela.
4. Perform a trial run with water only to prime the system and remove any manufacturing residues. Fill the water tank, place the carafe, and run a brewing cycle without coffee.

Configuració inicial:

1. Col·loqueu la màquina d'espresso sobre una superfície estable, plana i resistent a la calor.
2. Assegureu-vos que el botó de control estigui a la posició "OFF".
3. Open the water tank cap and fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the desired level (2-cup or 4-cup marking on the carafe). Securely close the water tank cap.

4. Inseriu la cistella de filtre adequada (d'2 tassa o de 4 tasses) al portafiltre.
5. Add ground coffee to the filter basket using the scooper. For optimal extraction, use fine ground coffee.

6. Utilitzeu la tamper end of the scooper to firmly press the ground coffee.
7. Attach the portafilter to the machine by aligning it with the unlock symbol and rotating it to the right until it locks into place.
8. Place the glass carafe on the drip tray directly beneath the portafilter.

Funcionament de la màquina d'espresso

Elaboració d'espresso:

1. Ensure the machine is plugged into a 120V power outlet.
2. Turn the control knob from "OFF" to the coffee cup symbol (Espresso Mode). The indicator light will illuminate.

3. The machine will begin brewing espresso into the carafe. Brewing for 2-4 cups typically takes about 2 minutes.

4. To pause brewing, turn the control knob to "PAUSE". To resume, turn it back to the coffee cup symbol.
5. Once the desired amount of espresso is brewed, turn the control knob to "OFF".
6. Carefully remove the carafe with the brewed espresso.

Important: Turn the control knob to the "OFF" position to relieve pressure through the steam wand before removing the water tank cap or portafilter.

Frothing Milk (Steam Wand):

2. Turn the control knob to the steam symbol (Steam Mode). The indicator light will illuminate.
3. Wait for the machine to heat up and produce steam (approx. 40 seconds).
4. Submerge the steam wand into the milk, just below the surface.

5. Move the pitcher up and down gently to create microfoam. The steam wand rotates 180° for convenience.
6. Once desired foam consistency and temperature (around 212°F) are reached, turn the control knob to "OFF".

Manteniment i Neteja

Neteja diària:

1. Després de cada ús, traieu el portafiltre i llenceu els mòlts de cafè utilitzats. Esbandiu el portafiltre i la cistella del filtre amb aigua corrent.
2. Clean the steam wand immediately after frothing milk to prevent milk residue from drying and clogging. Wipe with a damp cloth and briefly release steam.
3. Empty and clean the drip tray. The drip tray is detachable for easy cleaning.

Descalcificació:

Regular descaling is crucial to maintain machine performance and extend its lifespan, especially in areas with hard water. Descale every 2-3 months or as needed.

1. Prepareu una solució descalcificadora segons les instruccions del fabricant del descalcificador (per exemple, vinagre blanc i aigua o un descalcificador comercial).
2. Ompliu el dipòsit d'aigua amb la solució descalcificant.

4. Turn the control knob to the coffee cup symbol and allow half of the solution to run through.
5. Turn the control knob to the steam symbol and allow the remaining solution to run through the steam wand.
6. Turn the machine off and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
7. Rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill with fresh water. Run several cycles with fresh water to flush out any remaining descaling solution.
