1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your Zoom V3 Vocal Processor and Zoom SGV-6 Vocal Microphone. The Zoom V3 is designed to enhance vocal performances with a variety of effects, while the SGV-6 is a dedicated vocal microphone optimized for use with Zoom vocal processors.

2. Configuració

2.2 Connecting the SGV-6 Vocal Microphone

Connect the SGV-6 microphone to the V3 Vocal Processor using an XLR cable (not included). The microphone input is labeled "MIC IN" on the rear panel of the V3.

2.3 Powering On the V3 Vocal Processor

Connect the supplied power adapter to the "DC IN" jack on the V3 rear panel.

The V3 can be connected to a computer via its USB port for use as an audio interface or for firmware updates. Use a standard USB cable (Type-B to Type-A) for this connection.

3. Instruccions de funcionament

3.1 V3 Vocal Processor Overview

The V3 features a central control panel with various effect pads, a key selector, and adjustment knobs. Familiarize yourself with the layout:

Key Selector: Dial to set the musical key for harmony and pitch correction effects.
Effect Pads: 16 illuminated buttons to select different vocal effects.
Effect Adjust Knob: Controls the intensity or parameter of the selected effect.
COMP, DELAY, REVERB Knobs: Dedicated controls for compression, delay, and reverb levels.
Botó MILLORA: Activates a general vocal enhancement effect.
EFFECT OFF Button: Bypasses all active effects.

3.2 Seleccionar i ajustar els efectes

Select an Effect: Press one of the 16 effect pads to activate an effect (e.g., HARMONY, TALK BOX, VOCODER, PITCH CORRECT KEY, OCTAVE, UNISON, WHISTLE, DISTORTION, TELEPHONE, BEAT BOX, CHORUS, DEEP, ROBOT, CHILD, FORMANT CHARACTER). The pad will illuminate.

3.3 Using the SGV-6 Vocal Microphone

The SGV-6 microphone is designed for close-proximity vocal performance. Hold the microphone approximately 2-6 inches from your mouth for optimal sound capture. Adjust the input gain on the V3 (if available, typically an input gain knob or setting) to achieve a strong signal without clipping (indicated by the "CLIP" LED).

4. Manteniment

4.1 Neteja

To clean the V3 Vocal Processor and SGV-6 Vocal Microphone, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth may be used, followed by a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish and internal components.

4.2 Emmagatzematge

When not in use, store the V3 and SGV-6 in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Disconnect all cables and the power adapter before storing.
