This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your GVFYY Digital Security Safe Model 17E. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the safe to ensure proper function and security.

Configuració

1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Open the safe door using the emergency key. The keyhole is typically hidden behind a small cover on the keypad panel.

2. Initial Code Setting (First Use)

Upon first use, the safe typically has a default factory code. It is crucial to change this immediately for security. The default code is often 159.

Instruccions de funcionament

1. Opening the Safe with Digital Code

1. Enter your 3 to 8 digit personal code on the keypad.
2. Premeu el botó "E" botó per confirmar.
3. If the code is correct, a green light will illuminate for approximately 5 seconds.
4. Within these 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

2. Opening the Safe with Emergency Key

The emergency key provides access if you forget your code or if the batteries are depleted.

1. Locate the keyhole cover on the keypad panel and remove it.

1. With the safe door open, locate the small red reset button on the inside of the door, near the hinge.
2. Press the red reset button. You will hear a beep, and the yellow indicator light on the keypad will illuminate.
3. Within 5 seconds, enter your new 3 to 8 digit code on the keypad.

5. The safe will beep again, and the yellow light will turn off, indicating the new code is set.

Installation (Wall or Floor Mounting)

The safe features pre-drilled holes for secure mounting to a wall or floor, preventing unauthorized removal. Two expansion bolts are included for this purpose.

1. Choose a suitable location for your safe, considering security and accessibility.
2. Position the safe and mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom of the safe.
3. Drill holes into the wall or floor using an appropriate drill bit (refer to the anchor bolt size).
4. Align the safe with the drilled holes.
5. Insert the expansion bolts through the safe's holes and into the wall/floor.
6. Tighten the bolts securely to fix the safe in place.

Manteniment

• Substitució de la bateria: Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator appears (usually a red light or repeated beeps during operation). Always use 4 new AA batteries.
