3. Instruccions de configuració
3.1. Wash Components
Before first use, hand-wash the pitcher, lid, and reservoir with mild soap and cold water. Do not wash the Brita Elite filter with soap.
3.2. Prepare the Brita Elite Filter
Rinse the Brita Elite filter under cold tap water for 15 seconds. This helps remove any loose carbon dust.

5. Manteniment
5.1. Substitució del filtre
The Brita Elite filter is designed to last approximately 120 gallons or about 6 months, based on average family usage. The SmartLight indicator will signal when a replacement is needed.
- Remove the old filter by pulling it straight up from the reservoir.
- Prepare the new Brita Elite filter by rinsing it under cold tap water for 15 seconds.
- Insert the new filter firmly into the reservoir until it clicks into place.
- Reset the SmartLight indicator by pressing and holding the button on the lid for a few seconds until it flashes green.
- Discard the first three full pitchers of filtered water from the new filter to prime it.

5.2. Cleaning the Pitcher
