4. Check Latch Orientation: Verify that the angled face of the latch is oriented towards the door frame. If not, remove the face plate and turn the latch to the correct direction.
5. Add Spacers (if needed): If the spindle hole is not aligned or if there is excessive play, add the provided spacers to the lock body as necessary to ensure a snug fit.
