4. Configuració i primer ús

4.1 Desembalatge

1. Carefully remove the multicooker and all accessories from the packaging.

4.2 Neteja inicial

Abans del primer ús, netegeu totes les peces que entraran en contacte amb aliments:

1. Wash the inner pot, lid, egg boiler tray, and idli maker tray with warm, soapy water.
2. Rentar bé i assecar completament.
3. Wipe the exterior of the main unit and the power base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit or power base in water.

4.3 Col·locació

• Place the power base on a dry, stable, and heat-resistant surface.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

The KENT Electric Multicooker offers various cooking functions. Always ensure the appliance is properly assembled and plugged in before use.

5.1 Boiling Water or Making Tea

1. Fill the inner pot with the desired amount of water. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
2. Place the lid securely on the pot.
3. Place the pot on the power base.
4. Press the power button to start boiling. The indicator light will illuminate.
5. Once the water boils, the appliance will automatically shut off. For tea, add tea leaves or bags after boiling.

5.2 Boiling Eggs

1. Pour a small amount of water into the inner pot (refer to the water measuring cup for guidance on soft, medium, or hard-boiled eggs).
2. Place the egg boiler tray inside the pot.
3. Carefully place eggs onto the tray. You may pierce the larger end of each egg with the provided needle to prevent cracking during boiling.
4. Place the lid securely on the pot.
5. Press the power button. The appliance will automatically shut off when the water has evaporated and eggs are cooked.

5.3 Steaming Idlis, Momos, or Vegetables

1. Pour approximately 1-2 cups of water into the inner pot.
2. Place the idli maker tray or a suitable steaming rack (if steaming vegetables) into the pot, ensuring it is above the water level.
3. Arrange idli batter in the molds or place momos/cut vegetables on the tray.
4. Place the lid securely on the pot.
5. Press the power button. Allow to steam for the recommended cooking time for your food. The appliance will automatically shut off when the water level is low.

5.4 Cooking Instant Noodles

1. Fill the inner pot with the required amount of water for your noodles.
2. Place the lid securely on the pot.
3. Press the power button to boil the water.
4. Once the water boils, carefully add the instant noodles and seasoning.
5. Stir occasionally and cook until desired consistency is reached. The appliance may cycle on and off to maintain temperature.
6. Unplug the appliance when cooking is complete.

5.5 Automatic Shut-Off Feature

The multicooker is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature that activates when the water reaches boiling point or when the water level becomes too low during steaming/boiling. 3. Tapa i accessoris: Wash with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry completely.

6.2 Descalcificació

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up on the heating element, especially in areas with hard water. This can affect performance. Descale your multicooker regularly:

1. Fill the pot with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar, or use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
2. Let the solution soak for at least 30 minutes, or boil it for 5-10 minutes if the scale is heavy.
3. Pour out the solution and rinse the inner pot thoroughly several times with fresh water to remove any vinegar smell or descaling residue.
