3. Guia de configuració

Follow these steps to set up and activate your KINGBOLEN EDIAG device:

1. Descarrega l'aplicació: Cerca the "EDIAG" app on the Google Play Store (for Android) or the Apple App Store (for iOS) and install it on your smartphone.

4.1 Full System Diagnostics & Auto VIN

The EDIAG tool provides access to all electronic systems in your vehicle, including the engine, transmission, ABS, SRS, BMS, EPB, TPMS, DPF, and battery system. It can read and clear over 77 Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) across various vehicle brands. The Auto VIN feature automatically identifies your vehicle for quicker diagnostics.

4.3 Bidirectional Control / Active Tests

Perform active tests to send commands to vehicle systems and receive information, helping to quickly check and troubleshoot faults. Examples include controlling doors, windows, wipers, lights, fuel pump, and injectors.

4.4 Codificació de la ECU

ECU Coding allows you to modify the vehicle's control module after repairing or replacing components. This function is recommended for use with Android systems, as iOS currently does not support it.

4.5 Live Data Stream Graphs & Reports

View and compare multiple real-time data streams graphically to monitor vehicle performance. After diagnostics, you can generate vehicle health reports and print them online to share with others.

4.6 Supported Vehicles and Languages

The EDIAG tool supports over 120 car brands and 10,000+ vehicle models, with support for 12 languages.

5. Manteniment

The EDIAG device offers one year of free use for all functionalities and updates. After this period, renewal is required to continue accessing all features. Without renewal, only basic OBD2 functions will be available.

6. Troubleshooting & Important Warnings

• 24V Vehicles: The EDIAG cannot be used on 24V trucks and vans. Doing so will damage the device.
• ECU Coding on iOS: ECU Coding functionality is not available via the iOS system. Android is recommended for this feature.
• Compatibilitat de vehicles: Some Fiat models require an FCA account for diagnostics. Some Renault models require a specific gateway, which EDIAG does not support. Certain BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen Group (Audi, Volkswagen, etc.) models require the DOIP protocol, which EDIAG also does not support. If you are unsure about your vehicle's compatibility, please contact customer service for confirmation.
• Software Renewal: After one year of free use, renewal is required for full functionality. Without renewal, only OBD2 functions will be available.
