The HobbyZone Carbon Cub S 2 1.3m RTF Basic is a highly capable, versatile, and easy-to-fly scale trainer aircraft, modeled after the iconic Carbon Cub from CubCrafters. It is designed to help new pilots learn to fly successfully with its exclusive SAFE technology.

This RTF Basic version requires a compatible LiPo battery and charger, which are not included in the box.

4. Instruccions de funcionament
4.1 SAFE Technology and Flight Modes
The Carbon Cub S 2 is equipped with exclusive SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology, which helps prevent crashes and makes learning to fly easier. It offers three progressive flight modes:
- Mode principiant: Provides pitch and bank angle limits to prevent over-control and self-levels the aircraft when controls are released. Ideal for first flights and takeoffs.
- Mode intermedi: Offers more freedom in pitch and bank, but still prevents over-control. It does not self-level but allows for tighter turns and faster descents.
- Experienced Mode: No pitch or bank angle limits, giving you complete control for advanced maneuvers like loops, rolls, and inverted flight.
A Panic Recovery feature is also available, allowing you to instantly return the aircraft to level flight at the push of a button, even in Experienced Mode.

4.3 Enlairament i aterratge
The Carbon Cub S 2 features large tundra-style wheels, allowing for takeoffs and landings on various surfaces, including grass fields. Optional floats (sold separately) can be installed for water takeoffs and landings.

5. Manteniment
The Carbon Cub S 2 is constructed from durable plastic, making it resilient to minor impacts and easy to repair. Replacement parts, such as propellers and landing gear, are readily available from HobbyZone.
5.1 Tren d'aterratge
The steerable tricycle landing gear is designed for easy servicing and replacement if needed.

6. Solució De Problemes
If you encounter any issues with your Carbon Cub S 2, please refer to the comprehensive troubleshooting section in the included Product Manual. Common issues often relate to battery charge, proper binding of the transmitter, or minor control surface adjustments.
Remember that SAFE technology is designed to assist in preventing crashes. If you lose orientation or control, activate Panic Recovery mode by pressing the designated button on your Spektrum DXS transmitter to return the aircraft to stable flight.
