1. Introducció

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and efficient operation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your PHILIPS 3200 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine with LatteGo (Model EP3246/74). 2. Informació important de seguretat

3. Configuració

3.1 Desembalatge i neteja inicial

2. Wash the LatteGo milk carafe, drip tray, and coffee grounds container with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

3.2 Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua

1. Pull the water tank out from the right side of the machine.
2. Fill the tank with fresh tap water up to the MAX indication.
3. Feu lliscar el dipòsit d'aigua de nou a la màquina fins que encaixi al seu lloc.

3.3 Afegir grans de cafè

1. Open the coffee bean hopper lid on top of the machine.
2. Pour fresh coffee beans into the hopper. Ensure the lid is closed properly after filling to maintain bean freshness.

3.4 Attaching the LatteGo System

1. Fill the LatteGo carafe with milk up to the desired level.
2. Attach the LatteGo carafe to the machine by hooking it onto the spout on the left side.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Engegar la màquina

Press the power button on the control panel to turn on the machine. The machine will perform an automatic rinse cycle.

4.2 Selecting a Drink

The control panel offers various drink options. Simply tap the icon for your desired beverage:

• Cafè espresso: Per a un cafè concentrat.
• Cafè: Per a un cafè negre estàndard.
• americà: Espresso diluït amb aigua calenta.
• Capuccino: Espresso with frothed milk and a layer of foam.
• Latte macchiato: Layered drink with milk, espresso, and foam.

4.3 Personalització de la beguda

After selecting a drink, you can customize its settings using the "My Coffee Choice" icons:

• Milk Volume: For milk-based drinks, adjust the amount of frothed milk.

4.4 Dispensing Your Drink

1. Place your cup under the dispensing spout. Adjust the spout height to fit your cup size.
2. For milk-based drinks, ensure the LatteGo carafe is correctly attached and the milk spout is positioned over your cup.
3. Press the Play/Start button to begin brewing.

5. Manteniment

5.1 Neteja diària

• LatteGo System: After each milk-based drink, detach the LatteGo carafe and rinse it under running water. It is dishwasher-safe.

• Grup de cervesa: Remove the brew group (located behind the water tank) and rinse it thoroughly under running water. Allow it to air dry before reinserting.

5.3 Descaling and AquaClean Filter

The machine will prompt you when descaling is required. Use only Philips descaling solution. The AquaClean filter reduces the need for descaling. Replace the filter when prompted by the machine.
