5.1 Cablejatview

• Cable vermell (ACC): Connect to an ACC fuse, which is powered only when the engine is on.
• Yellow Wire (B+): Connect to a constant power fuse, which is always powered (whether the engine is on or off).
• Cable negre (terra): Connect to a metal screw or bolt on the vehicle for grounding.

2. Locate the Vehicle Fuse Box: Your vehicle's fuse box is typically located under the dashboard or in the engine bay. Refer to your vehicle's manual for its exact location. Use the included trim tool to carefully open the fuse box cover.
3. Identify Correct Fuse Slots:
   • Constant Power Fuse (Yellow Wire): Use a multimeter to find a fuse that provides continuous power even when the ignition is off.
   • ACC Fuse (Red Wire): Use a multimeter to find a fuse that provides power only when the ignition is in the ACC position (engine on).

   Note: Do not insert fuses into slots that serve other critical functions.

4. Install Add-A-Fuse Taps: Remove the original fuse from the identified slots. Insert the original fuse into the lower slot of the add-a-fuse tap. Insert the provided dash cam fuse (usually 5A) into the upper slot of the add-a-fuse tap. Connect the red wire to the ACC tap and the yellow wire to the constant power (B+) tap.
5. Connecteu el cable de terra: Loosen a metal bolt or screw on the vehicle's chassis. Slip the black ground wire's ring terminal under the bolt/screw and tighten it securely. Ensure a good metal-to-metal connection for stable grounding.

7. Test the Dash Cam: Turn on your vehicle's ignition to ensure the dash cam powers on. Turn off the ignition and check if the dash cam enters parking monitoring mode (if enabled in dash cam settings).

6.1 24/7 Parking Monitoring

Once the hardwire kit is correctly installed and your dash cam's parking mode feature is enabled, the dash cam will automatically switch to parking monitoring when your vehicle's ignition is turned off. This allows for continuous surveillance, recording events like collisions (G-sensor detection) or time-lapse footage.

8.1 Dash Cam Does Not Power On

• Verify fuse integrity: Check both the original fuse and the dash cam fuse within the add-a-fuse tap. Replace if blown.
• Confirm correct fuse slots: Ensure the ACC wire is connected to a fuse that powers on with the ignition, and the B+ wire is connected to a constant power fuse.
• Dash Cam Compatibility: Ensure your dash cam is compatible with a Type-C power input.

8.2 Parking Mode Not Activating

• Dash Cam Settings: Confirm that parking monitoring is enabled in your dash cam's settings and configured for G-sensor or time-lapse mode.
• ACC Wire Connection: The ACC (Red) wire must be correctly connected to a fuse that loses power when the ignition is off. If only the B+ (Yellow) wire is connected, the dash cam may boot directly but parking monitoring will not activate as it won't detect the ignition status change.
