1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation and use of the SSNNUU Dash Cam Hardwire Kit. This kit is designed to provide continuous power to your dash camera, enabling 24-hour monitoring and freeing up your vehicle's cigarette lighter port. It features an upgraded USB-C interface and wide compatibility with 12V-30V vehicles.

5. Guia d'instal·lació

Follow these steps for a concealed and non-destructive installation of your dash cam hardwire kit.

5.1 Preparació

• Turn off your vehicle's engine and remove the key from the ignition.
• Locate your vehicle's fuse box. This is typically found under the dashboard, in the glove compartment, or under the hood. Refer to your vehicle's manual.
• Identify a fuse slot that provides constant power (BAT) for 24-hour monitoring and an ACC (Accessory) fuse slot that only receives power when the ignition is on. Use a circuit tester if unsure.
• Select the appropriate fuse tap from the kit that matches your vehicle's fuse type.

5.2 Passos de cablejat

1. Connecteu-vos a la Dash Cam: Connect the USB-C end of the hardwire kit to your dash camera's power input port.
2. Obriu la caixa de fusibles: Open the car fuse box cover.
3. Connect Red Wire (ACC/BAT):
   • Insert the original fuse from your chosen ACC or BAT slot into the lower slot of the fuse tap.
   • Insert one of the provided 5A blade fuses into the upper slot of the fuse tap (this protects the dash cam circuit).
   • Plug the red wire of the hardwire kit into the fuse tap.
   • Insert the fuse tap into the selected fuse slot in your vehicle's fuse box.

4. Connect Black Wire (GND): Connect the black wire (ground wire) to a metal bolt or screw on the car's chassis. Ensure it is a secure connection to bare metal for proper grounding.
5. Prova de connexió: Start your vehicle's ignition and check if the dash cam powers on. If using a constant power source, the dash cam should power on even with the ignition off.
6. Conceal Wiring: Use the provided pry tool to tuck the power cable neatly along the edges of the car's interior trim, headliner, and A-pillar down to the fuse box. This ensures a clean and hidden installation.

6. Funcionament

Once properly installed, the SSNNUU Dash Cam Hardwire Kit operates automatically:

• Potència contínua: If connected to a constant power fuse, the kit will provide 24-hour power to your dash cam, enabling parking surveillance features.
• Ignition-Switched Power: If connected to an ACC fuse, the dash cam will power on and off with your vehicle's ignition.
