3. Muntatge i muntatge

The log splitter requires assembly of its stand and wheels before first use. Follow these steps carefully:

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Preparing Logs

• Only split dry, seasoned wood. Green wood is harder to split and can damage the machine.
• Ensure logs are cut squarely at both ends to prevent them from slipping during splitting.
• Remove any branches or knots that could interfere with the splitting process.
• Do not exceed the maximum log length of 52 cm and diameter of 25 cm.

4.2 Splitting Process

1. Place a log firmly on the splitting bed against the end plate.
2. Adjust the Vario Splitting System if necessary to match the log length.
3. Engage the two-hand safety controls simultaneously to activate the splitting wedge.
4. Hold both controls until the log is fully split or the wedge reaches its maximum extension.
5. Release the controls to retract the splitting wedge.
6. Remove the split wood and repeat the process for the next log.
