3. Configuració

3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The Nikon PROSTAFF 1000i requires two CR2 Lithium batteries for operation. Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries.

1. Locate the battery compartment cover, typically on the underside or side of the unit.

4.1 Powering On and Ranging

• Distant Target Priority Mode: Measures the distance to the farthest object among a group of targets. This is particularly useful in heavily wooded areas where your target might be partially obscured by foliage.

4.4 Incline/Decline (ID) Technology

Nikon's ID Technology automatically calculates and displays the horizontal distance to your target, even when ranging from an elevated or depressed position. This is crucial for accurate shot placement in varied terrain.

• When ID Technology is active, the display will show both the actual (line-of-sight) distance and the compensated horizontal distance.

5. Manteniment

5.1 Neteja

• Lents: Use the provided Wearable4U cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Gently wipe the lens surfaces to remove dust or smudges. Avoid using abrasive materials or excessive force.
