The Theben RAMSES 811 top3 is a digital clock thermostat designed for time-dependent room temperature monitoring and regulation. This battery-powered version is suitable for On/Off heating systems, zone control, individual room control, and electric radiators. It is ideal for retrofitting and can be mounted on a flush-mounted box or directly on a wall.

Key features include three individually programmable weekly programs, along with comfort, eco, party, and setback functions. A holiday program and a chimney sweep function are also available. An adjustable optimizer ensures the desired temperature is reached at the programmed switching time. An external input allows connection of an alternative floor or room temperature sensor, a window contact, or a presence detector. Control is possible directly on the device or via the free RAMSES top3 app using a local Bluetooth connection, eliminating the need for internet, gateways, or additional routers. The user interface and information display (pump, heating, temperatures) are easily readable on the generous screen or within the app.

2. Configuració i instal·lació

2.1 Muntatge

The RAMSES 811 top3 thermostat can be mounted on a standard flush-mounted box or directly on a wall. Ensure the mounting location is free from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources that could affect temperature readings.

2.2 Instal·lació de la bateria

The thermostat is powered by 2 AA batteries (included). To install or replace batteries, carefully remove the front cover of the thermostat. Insert the batteries according to the polarity markings inside the compartment. Replace the cover securely.

2.3 Wiring (Optional External Input)

The thermostat includes an external input for connecting an alternative floor or room temperature sensor, a window contact, or a presence detector. Refer to the wiring diagram for proper connection. For safety, ensure power is disconnected before performing any wiring.

3.1 On-Device Control

The thermostat features a clear display and intuitive buttons for direct control. Use the navigation buttons to adjust settings, select programs, and view current temperatures. The display provides real-time information on pump status, heating activity, and set temperatures.

For convenient control, download the free RAMSES top3 app on your smartphone. The app connects directly to the thermostat via Bluetooth (BLE), eliminating the need for an internet connection, gateways, or additional routers. This local connection enhances security against manipulation.

4. Manteniment

4.1 Substitució de la bateria

The thermostat uses 2 AA batteries. When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Refer to section 2.2 for battery installation instructions.

4.2 Neteja

Clean the thermostat's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the device, as this may damage the surface or internal components.

• Thermostat not responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the thermostat is securely mounted.
