Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, painting, and decal application of the Heller 1:35 scale FCM36 model kit (Model HEL30322). This kit is designed for collectors aged 14 years and over and is not intended as a toy.

The FCM 36 or Char Léger Modèle 1936 FCM was a light infantry tank designed for the French Army prior to World War II. It was built by Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée (FCM). The tank featured a riveted and welded hull, and was equipped with a 37mm short gun and a 7.5mm coaxial machine gun. While it saw limited combat during the Battle of France in 1940, many French armored vehicles fell into the hands of the Wehrmacht. They were subsequently used for various combat operations, as well as support and training equipment.

The FCM36 model can be painted to represent its original French camouflage scheme or its later German (Panzerkampfwagen 737 (f)) configuration.

Recommended Paints:

Apply decals carefully using water. For best results, use a decal setting solution to help decals conform to surface details and eliminate silvering.

Once assembled and painted, your model requires minimal maintenance. To preserve its appearance:

• Keep the model in a dust-free environment.
• Avoid direct sunlight to prevent paint fading and plastic warping.

Resolució de problemes comuns

• Peces que no encaixen: Ensure all sprue gates are cleanly removed and check for any excess plastic (flash). Light sanding may be required. Refer to the instruction diagram for correct orientation.
• Decal silvering: This occurs when air is trapped under the decal. Apply a gloss coat before decals, use decal setting solution, and ensure the surface is smooth.
• Paint adhesion issues: Ensure plastic surfaces are clean and free of oils or mold release agents. Wash parts with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly before painting.
