4. Configuració i instal·lació

Proper installation is critical for the performance and safety of your filter system.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

The multi-port valve controls the flow of water through the filter system. Always turn off the pump before changing the valve position to prevent damage.

Multi-Port Valve Positions:

• FILTRE: Normal filtering operation. Water flows through the sand bed, trapping debris, and returns to the pool. This is the most common setting.
• CONTRENAT: Used to clean the filter sand. Water flows in reverse through the sand bed, dislodging trapped debris, and is directed out the waste port. Backwash until the sight glass (if present) runs clear.
• ESbandida: Used after backwashing to settle the sand bed and flush any remaining dirty water to waste. Run for 30-60 seconds.
• RESIDUS/DESGUÀS: Bypasses the filter and sends water directly out the waste port. Useful for vacuuming heavy debris directly to waste or lowering pool water level.
• RECIRCULATE/BYPASS: Evita el filtre i fa circular l'aigua directament de tornada a la piscina. Útil per distribuir productes químics sense filtrar.
• CLOSED/WINTERIZE: Closes all ports to the filter. Use for servicing the pump or filter, or for winterizing the system. Never operate the pump in this position.

• Rentat a contracorrent: Backwash the filter when the pressure gauge reading is 8-10 PSI (0.5-0.7 bar) above your clean filter pressure, or when pool water appears cloudy.
• Pump Basket Cleaning: Regularly inspect and clean the pump strainer basket. Turn off the pump, close necessary valves, remove the lid, empty debris, and replace.
• Filter Sand Replacement: Filter sand typically lasts 3-5 years, depending on usage and water chemistry. Replace the sand when filtration efficiency decreases despite regular backwashing.
• Hivernització: In cold climates, drain all water from the pump, filter, and plumbing lines to prevent freezing damage. Store the multi-port valve handle in the "WINTERIZE" or "CLOSED" position (if available) or remove it and store indoors.
