3. Muntatge i muntatge

Follow these steps to assemble your MD-810 metal detector and prepare it for use.

3.1. Identificació dels components:

Abans del muntatge, assegureu-vos que hi hagi tots els components:

• Control Unit with LCD display
• Search Coil (10-inch round)
• Adjustable Stem (upper, middle, lower sections)
• Reposabraços
• Fasteners for search coil and control unit

3.2. Passos de muntatge:

1. Connecteu la bobina de cerca:

   Connect the search coil to the lower stem using the provided non-metallic bolt and nut. Ensure it is securely fastened but do not overtighten.

2. Assemble the Stem:

   Connect the lower stem (with the search coil) to the middle stem, and then connect the middle stem to the upper stem. Ensure the spring clips or locking mechanisms engage properly.

3. Mount the Control Unit:

   Slide the control unit onto the top of the upper stem. Secure it in place using the designated locking collar or screw. Ensure the control unit is firmly attached and does not wobble.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

This section details how to operate your MD-810 metal detector effectively.

4.1. Encendre/apagar:

Manteniu premut el botó PODER button to turn the detector on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate upon power-on.

4.2. Understanding the Display:

The LCD screen provides crucial information:

• ID objectiu: Numerical value and icon indicating the probable type of metal detected.
• Depth Indication: Estimates the depth of the target (e.g., 2", 4", 6", 8"+ for coins).
• Nivell de sensibilitat: Shows the current sensitivity setting (5 grades).
• Indicador de bateria: Displays remaining battery life (4 grades).
• Intensitat del senyal: Indicates the strength of the detected signal (5 grades).
• Nivell de volum: Shows the current audio volume (3 grades).

4.3. Modes de funcionament:

The MD-810 offers 5 operation modes. Press the MODE botó per anar-hi ciclant.

• ALL-METAL Mode (A-M):

  In this motion mode, the detector will respond to all types of metals. This is ideal for finding all metal objects or when the type of metal is unknown.
• DISC Mode (Discrimination):

  This motion mode allows you to eliminate certain kinds of metal from detection. You can adjust the discrimination level to ignore unwanted items like iron or foil. The detector will not respond to discriminated metals.

• Mode de MEMÒRIA:

  This motion mode allows the detector to remember specific kinds of metals you choose to detect. It will only respond to these selected metals, ignoring others.

• Mode JOIES:

  This motion mode is specifically designed to find jewelry. It will eliminate iron signals but will respond to other metals commonly found in jewelry.
• PINPOINT Mode (P-P):

  This is a non-motion mode used to accurately locate the exact position of a detected target. Once a target is found in a motion mode, switch to P-P mode, hold the coil steady, and move it slowly to pinpoint the target's center.

4.4. Ajust de sensibilitat:

Premeu el botó SENS button to adjust the sensitivity level (5 grades). Higher sensitivity increases detection depth but may also increase false signals in mineralized ground. Start with a medium setting and adjust as needed.

4.5. Ajust de volum:

4.6. Sweeping Technique:

Proper sweeping technique is crucial for effective detection:

1. Keep the search coil parallel to the ground at all times, approximately 1/2 inch (1-2 cm) above the surface.
2. Move the search coil slowly and steadily from side to side in overlapping sweeps. Avoid lifting the coil at the end of each sweep.
3. Overlap each sweep by about half the coil's diameter to ensure complete ground coverage.
4. When a target is detected, the detector will emit an audio tone, and the LCD will display target information.

5. Manteniment

Proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your MD-810 metal detector.

• Neteja:
  • Wipe the search coil with a damp cloth after use, especially if used in wet or muddy conditions.
  • Clean the control unit and stem with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the control unit is kept dry.

  • Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD.
