Configuració

1. Instal·lació de la bateria

The monitor requires 4 AAA batteries (included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

2. Connexió del braç

Connect the air tube from the arm cuff securely into the air jack located on the side of the monitor unit.

3. Aplicació del braç

Ensure the cuff is placed directly on your bare upper arm, approximately 1-2 cm above the elbow joint. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm. The Cuff Placement Indicator icon on the monitor helps ensure proper positioning for accurate readings. The wide-range cuff fits arm sizes from 8.6” to 16.5” (22 – 42 cm).

Prendre una mesura

1. Sit comfortably with your arm resting on a flat surface, ensuring the cuff is at heart level.
2. Press the large power button (U) to start the measurement. The monitor will automatically inflate the cuff.
3. Remain still and quiet during the measurement. The Excessive Movement Indicator will notify you if your arm moved too much.
4. Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your Systolic (SYS), Diastolic (DIA), and Pulse (PUL) readings will be displayed.

Interpretació dels teus resultats

The monitor provides visual cues to help you understand your readings:

• Indicador d'hipertensió: This feature assesses if your reading falls within the globally accepted World Health Organization standards, indicated by a color-coded bar on the display (green for normal, yellow for elevated, red for hypertension).

The SmartHeart monitor features a generous 2-person memory bank, storing up to 99 measurements for each user. This allows for easy recall and tracking of your results over time. Use the 'M' button to access memory readings and the user selection button (two person icon) to switch between users.

• Keep the monitor and cuff clean by wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
