Follow these steps to locate underground wires or cable breaks:

1. Traçat de cables:
   • With the transmitter connected and powered on, hold the receiver and sweep it slowly over the area where the wire is suspected to be buried.
   • The receiver will emit an audible signal and display signal strength indicators (LEDs). The signal will be strongest directly above the wire.
   • Move the receiver back and forth to pinpoint the exact path of the wire.
2. Locating Cable Breaks:
   • Connect the transmitter to one end of the suspected broken wire and a good ground.
   • Trace the wire as described above. The signal will abruptly weaken or disappear at the point of the break.
   • Confirm the break by testing from the other end of the wire if accessible.
