- Connect the Power Adapter (for 3.5" HDDs): If using a 3.5" HDD, connect the included power adapter to the SATA adapter and then to a power outlet. This is crucial for proper operation of 3.5" drives.

- Test with Another Disk: If possible, test the WAVLINK device with a different disk to determine if the issue is with the adapter or the original disk.
