4. Característiques

5. Configuració

5.1 Desembalatge i inspecció

Upon receiving your RWRAPS PAC5000/PAC5110 meter, carefully unpack it and check for any signs of damage during transit. Verify that all components are present. If any damage or missing parts are found, contact your supplier immediately.

5.2 Muntatge

The PAC5000/PAC5110 is designed for embedded panel installation. The product panel size is 96x96mm. Ensure the mounting location is clean, dry, and free from excessive vibration or heat sources.

  1. Cut a square opening of 92x92mm (approximately) in the panel.
  2. Insert the meter into the opening from the front.
  3. Secure the meter using the provided mounting clips on the sides. Push the clips firmly until the meter is snug against the panel.

5.3 Cablejat

WARNING: Ensure all power is disconnected before proceeding with wiring. Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the meter or pose a safety hazard. Refer to the wiring diagram on the back of the meter and consult a qualified electrician if unsure.

The meter features plug-and-pull type connection terminals for convenience. The main connections are:

  • Auxiliary Power Supply (L+/N-): Connect the auxiliary power supply (85-270V~/120-380V) to these terminals.
  • Voltage Inputs (V1, V2, V3, Vn): Connect the phase voltages (230V 3-L/N, 400V 3-L-L) to these terminals.
  • Current Inputs (1I+, 1I-, 2I+, 2I-, etc.): Connect the current transformers (CTs) to these terminals. The meter supports 0.25-5(6)A current input. Ensure correct polarity. The meter has a current transformer reverse connection correction function.
  • RS485 Communication (A, B, G): Connect the RS485 communication lines for data transmission.
  • Digital Inputs/Outputs (DI, DO): Connect external control or monitoring signals as required.

After all connections are made, double-check the wiring for correctness and security before restoring power.

6. Funcionament

6.1 Encès

Once the meter is correctly wired and mounted, apply power to the auxiliary power supply terminals. The LCD display will illuminate, and the meter will begin to display measurement data.

6.2 Pantalla i navegació

The meter features a colorful LCD HD display with a backlight. The backlight lighting time is adjustable. The display refreshes every 1 second and can be configured for manual or automatic scroll display of parameters.

The front panel includes several buttons for navigation and configuration:

  • U/I (Voltage/Current) / ESC: Typically used to cycle through voltage and current displays or to exit a menu.
  • PF/HZ (Power Factor/Frequency): Used to cycle through power factor and frequency displays.
  • P (potència): Used to cycle through active, reactive, and apparent power displays.
  • E (Energy): Used to cycle through energy consumption displays (e.g., kWh, kvarh).

Consult the on-screen menu for specific navigation instructions to access advanced settings and analytical parameters.

The meter is equipped with a data storage function. In the event of a power outage, all accumulated electrical energy data will be stored and memorized. When power is restored, the meter will resume accumulating data from the last recorded value. A data reset function is available for users who require multiple measurement cycles.
