4.3. Recessed Installation Steps
Follow these steps for recessed installation into a framed wall:
- Step 1: Prepare the Framing. Construct a wooden frame according to the specified recessed opening dimensions (49.2" W x 17.2" H x 5.9" D).
- Step 2: Electrical Preparation. Ensure a 120V electrical outlet is available within the framed opening or prepare for hardwiring. An extension lead may be used if necessary.
- Step 3: Insert Fireplace. Carefully slide the fireplace unit into the prepared framed opening.
- Step 4: Secure the Unit. Use the provided screws to secure the fireplace to the wooden framing through the designated mounting holes.
- Step 5: Remove Front Glass. Unscrew the retaining screws on the sides of the fireplace and carefully remove the front glass panel.
