5. Configuració

1. Desembalar: Traieu amb cura tots els components de l'embalatge.
2. Inspeccionar: Check all parts for any signs of damage.
3. Col·locació: Place the sharpener on a stable, dry, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for safe operation and to prevent obstruction.

6.1 Sharpening Knives, Scissors, Chisels, and Planers

1. Identify the appropriate sharpening slot for knives/scissors or chisels/planers. These slots are typically located on the side of the unit and feature an adjustable angle guide.
2. Adjust the sharpening angle using the knob or lever provided, typically ranging from 15° to 50°, to match the existing bevel of your tool. The width can be adjusted from 6mm to 51mm.
3. Turn the sharpener ON using the power switch.
4. Carefully insert the blade into the chosen slot, ensuring it rests against the grinding wheel at the desired angle.
5. Apply light, consistent pressure and draw the blade smoothly across the grinding wheel. Repeat this motion several times, alternating sides if sharpening a double-bevel blade, until the desired sharpness is achieved.
6. For chisels and planers, ensure the straight edge is maintained during sharpening.
7. Turn the sharpener OFF after use.

6.2 Sharpening Drill Bits

1. Locate the dedicated drill bit sharpening slot, typically marked for diameters from 3mm to 13mm.
2. Insert the drill bit into the drill bit placer accessory.
3. Turn the sharpener ON.
4. Carefully insert the drill bit placer with the drill bit into the designated slot.
5. Rotate the drill bit gently as instructed by the markings on the unit or the placer, ensuring even sharpening of both cutting edges.
6. Continue until the drill bit is sharp and the original point angle (approximately 130°) is restored.
7. Turn the sharpener OFF after use.
