1. Introducció

2. Instruccions de seguretat

Observeu sempre les següents precaucions de seguretat per evitar lesions personals o danys a l'equip.

• Llegeix el manual: Familiarize yourself with all instructions before operating the pump.
• Manipulació de combustible: Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke or allow open flames near the pump.
• Fums d'escapament: The engine produces carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless gas that can be fatal. Operate the pump only in well-ventilated outdoor areas. Never operate indoors.

3.1 Components

4. Configuració

4.1 Desembalatge i inspecció

• Traieu amb cura la bomba i tots els accessoris de l'embalatge.
• Inspeccioneu si hi ha hagut danys durant l'enviament. Poseu-vos en contacte amb el vostre distribuïdor immediatament si trobeu danys.
• Assegureu-vos que hi hagi tots els components que figuren a la llista d'embalatge.

4.2 Fuel and Oil Preparation

IMPORTANT: The pump is shipped without engine oil or gasoline. You MUST add engine oil before the first start-up. Failure to do so will cause severe engine damage and void the warranty.

• Afegeix oli de motor: Locate the oil filler cap/dipstick on the engine. Fill with appropriate 4-stroke engine oil (refer to engine manual for specific type and quantity, typically SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40). Do not overfill.
• Afegeix gasolina: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Do not overfill. Ensure the fuel cap is securely tightened.

4.3 Connexions de mànega

• Mànega d'aspiració: Connect a reinforced suction hose (minimum 80mm / 3 inches diameter) to the pump's inlet. Ensure an airtight seal to prevent air leaks, which can reduce pumping efficiency. Use the provided clamps.
• Mànega de descàrrega: Connect a discharge hose (minimum 80mm / 3 inches diameter) to the pump's outlet. Secure with clamps.
• Foot Valve/Strainer: Attach the included foot valve/strainer to the end of the suction hose to prevent debris from entering the pump and to maintain prime.

4.4 Cebament de la bomba

Before starting, the pump housing must be filled with water to create a vacuum for suction.

• Remove the priming cap located on top of the pump housing.
• Slowly fill the pump housing with clean water until it overflows.
• Replace and securely tighten the priming cap.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Arrencada del motor

• Ensure the pump is on a stable, level surface and all hoses are securely connected.
• Open the fuel valve (usually a lever below the fuel tank).
• Moveu la palanca de l'estrangulador a la posició "CHOKE" (per a arrencades en fred).
• Poseu l'interruptor del motor a la posició 'ON'.
• Pull the recoil starter handle slowly until resistance is felt, then pull firmly and quickly. Do not let the rope snap back.
• Un cop el motor s'hagi engegat, moveu gradualment la palanca de l'estrangulador a la posició "RUN".
• Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before engaging the pump.

5.2 Pumping Operation

• After the engine has warmed up, the pump will begin to draw water.
• Monitor the water flow and ensure there are no leaks in the connections.
• Adjust the engine speed as needed for desired flow rate, but avoid running at maximum RPM for extended periods if not necessary.

5.3 Parar el motor

• Reduïu la velocitat del motor al ralentí.
• Moveu l'interruptor del motor a la posició 'OFF'.

6. Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your pump. Always ensure the engine is off and cool before performing any maintenance.

6.1 Routine Checks (Before Each Use)

• Comproveu el nivell d'oli del motor i ompliu-lo si cal.
• Inspect fuel level.
• Comproveu la neteja del filtre d'aire.
• Inspect hoses and connections for wear or leaks.

6.2 Neteja

• Clean the exterior of the pump and engine after each use, especially if used with dirty water.
• Remove any debris from the foot valve/strainer.
• Periodically clean or replace the air filter (refer to engine manual).

6.3 Emmagatzematge

• For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and carburetor to prevent fuel degradation.
• Drain all water from the pump housing and hoses to prevent freezing damage.
• Store the pump in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area.
