4. Applicable Models & Compatibility
The Eonon E39A13 car radio is compatible with BMW 5 Series 1995-2002 (E39) models. Please verify your car's power cable connector in the center console and trunk before installation.

- If the connector in the trunk is 17-pin or 40-pin, you may need to purchase the Eonon A0590 extension harness for installation.
- If the connector in the trunk is 17-pin, but 4 pins are empty as indicated in the compatibility guide, this unit is NOT suitable for installation.
- No additional frame or cable changes are needed for compatible models; it is designed for plug-and-play installation.

This section guides you through the installation process. While designed for ease of installation, professional installation is recommended if you are unsure about any steps.

Familiarize yourself with all components before beginning installation. The main unit, wiring harness, GPS antenna, external microphone, and various adapter cables are included.

5.2 Removing the Old Unit
Carefully remove your existing car radio unit from the dashboard. This typically involves removing trim pieces and unscrewing the old unit. Disconnect all cables from the back of the old unit.

5.3 Connecting the Wiring Harness
The Eonon E39A13 comes with a comprehensive wiring harness. Connect the appropriate connectors from your vehicle to the new unit's harness. All connectors are labeled to simplify the process.

- Connect the 40-pin or 17-pin power cable to the corresponding vehicle connector.
- Connect the CAN Bus Decoder.
- Connect audio output (FR, FL, RL, RR) and subwoofer output cables.
- Connect AUX audio input cables.
5.4 Connexió d'accessoris
- Antena GPS: Connect the GPS antenna and mount it on the dashboard or roof of the vehicle for optimal signal reception.

6.2 Wireless/Wired CarPlay & Android Auto
Experience seamless integration with your smartphone. Connect wirelessly via Bluetooth or use a USB cable for wired connection. Activate Siri or Google Assistant with voice commands like 'Hey Siri' or 'Hey Google' to control music, navigation, phone calls, and messages, enhancing driving safety.
6.3 Mirall de pantalla
Mirror your phone's display directly onto the car stereo screen. This allows you to view apps, videos, and other content from your smartphone on the larger display.

6.4 Funcions d'àudio
The unit features a built-in AMP with 4x45W output and a 36-band equalizer for rich sound customization. It supports 18 FM/AM channels and AUX audio input.

6.5 Connectivitat

6.7 System Update (FOTA)
Eonon offers convenient online firmware updates (FOTA). You do not need a USB stick to upgrade the system. Simply navigate to the system update section in the settings and follow the on-screen prompts.

6.8 OBD Scanner Connectivity

7. Solució De Problemes
- Sense energia: Check all power connections, especially the main power cable and fuse. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on.
- Sense so: Verify speaker connections and audio output settings. If your vehicle has a Harman Kardon system, ensure the CANBUS is correctly connected and configured.
