1. Introducció

Welcome to the user manual for your new BOOX Tablet Go Color 7. This ePaper E Ink Tablet is designed to provide a comfortable and versatile reading and productivity experience with its color display and Android operating system. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your device.

2. Configuració

2.1. Què hi ha a la caixa

2.2. Càrrega inicial

Before first use, fully charge your device. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the tablet's USB-C port and the other end to a compatible power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The battery is a 2,300mAh Li-ion Polymer type.

2.3. Encendre/apagar

• Per apagar: premeu i manteniu premut el botó Botó d'engegada, then select 'Power off' from the options that appear on the screen.

2.4. Connectivitat

The device supports Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. To connect to Wi-Fi, navigate to Configuració > Xarxa i Internet > Wi-Fi and select your desired network. For Bluetooth, go to Configuració > Dispositius connectats > Bluetooth.

2.5. Account Setup

The BOOX Tablet Go Color 7 runs on Android 12. Upon first boot, you will be guided through the initial setup process, including connecting to Wi-Fi and optionally signing in with your Google account to access the Google Play Store and other services.

3.1. Screen and Display

The device features a 7-inch Kaleido 3 (4,096 colors) Carta 1200 glass screen with a flat cover-lens. The resolution is 1680 x 1264 (B/W 300 ppi, Color 150 ppi). It includes a front light with CTM (Warm and Cold) for comfortable reading in various lighting conditions. The G-sensor enables automatic screen rotation.

The device uses capacitive touch for screen interaction. Additionally, it features physical Page-Turn Buttons for convenient navigation through documents and books.

3.3. Reading and Document Formats

The BOOX Tablet Go Color 7 supports a wide range of document formats, including PDF, CAJ, DJVU, CBR, CBZ, EPUB, AZW3, MOBI, TXT, DOC, DOCX, FB2, CHM, RTF, HTML, ZIP, PRC, PPT, PPTX, and EPUB3. It also supports image formats like PNG, JPG, BMP, and TIFF.

3.4. Emmagatzematge i memòria

The device comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. It also features a microSD Card Slot for expandable storage, allowing you to carry a vast library of content.

4. Manteniment

5.1. Problemes comuns i solucions

• El dispositiu no respon: If the device becomes unresponsive, press and hold the Power Button for about 10-15 seconds to force a restart.
• Screen Ghosting: E Ink screens may sometimes show faint remnants of previous images (ghosting). This can often be resolved by performing a full screen refresh. Many apps and the system settings allow you to adjust refresh modes to minimize ghosting.
• Problemes de connectivitat Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is active and you have entered the correct password. Try restarting your router and the BOOX tablet.
