Follow these steps to properly install your adjustable trailer hitch:

1. Insert the Shank: Slide the main adjustable shank into your vehicle's 2-inch receiver. Ensure it is fully inserted until the pin holes align.

2. Secure the Shank: Insert one of the provided hitch pin locks through the aligned holes in the receiver and the hitch shank. Lock it securely with a key.
3. Attach the Ball Mount: Slide the dual ball mount onto the adjustable shank. Select the desired height for your trailer by aligning the pin holes. The hitch offers a maximum drop/rise of 6 inches.
4. Secure the Ball Mount: Insert the second hitch pin lock through the aligned holes of the ball mount and the shank. Lock it securely.

5. Install the Anti-Rattle Tightener: Position the hitch tightener (U-bolt and plate) around the receiver and the hitch shank. Tighten the nuts evenly to eliminate any play, rattle, or wobble between the hitch and the receiver.
