The PEMP 10.25" Linux Screen is designed to upgrade your BMW 3 Series F30 (2012-2017) NBT/CIC system, offering enhanced features such as CarPlay, Android Auto, and Mirror Link. It features a 1920*720 HD display with capacitive touch functionality and supports integration with your car's existing controls.

4. Instal·lació

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. It is recommended to seek professional assistance if you are unfamiliar with car electronics installation.

4.1 Checking LVDS Connection Socket

Before installation, identify the LVDS connection socket on the back of your OEM display to ensure compatibility with the NBT/CIC system.

Refer to the general wiring diagram for connecting the components. Ensure all connections are secure.

4.3 Fiber Optic Cable Adaptation (if applicable)

If your OEM ISO harness contains a fiber optic cable, it must be adapted to the PEMP ISO harness. This step is crucial for proper audio and system integration.

4.4 AUX Connection for Audio

For models where the AUX directly enters the audio amplifier, you must connect the provided audio cable into the AUX IN connector located in the armrest box to enable sound from the Linux system.

4.5 Secure Power and LVDS Connections

Ensure that the power cable and LVDS connections on the back of the machine are securely plugged in. If they are loose, re-plug them firmly.

5. Configuració

5.1 Setting OEM Screen Resolution

To ensure proper display, set the correct OEM screen resolution in the system settings.

5.2 Connecting Apple CarPlay

The unit supports both wired and wireless Apple CarPlay. Follow these steps to connect your iPhone.

5.3 Connecting Android Auto

The unit supports both wired and wireless Android Auto. Follow these steps to connect your Android phone.

5.4 Using OEM Bluetooth for Calls

You can utilize your car's original Bluetooth system for phone calls while using CarPlay or Android Auto.

5.5 Reverse Camera Setup

The included 720P AHD camera provides clear reversing visuals. Ensure correct camera format selection in settings.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Switching Between OEM and Linux Interfaces

Long press the Menu button to switch between the factory OEM interface and the CarPlay/Android Auto interface.

6.2 CarPlay and Android Auto Features

Once connected, you can access navigation, music, messages, and other compatible apps directly from the screen. The system supports control via the car's knob and steering wheel buttons.

7. Solució De Problemes

7.1 No Sound Issue

If you experience no sound from the system, follow these steps:

1. Check if the OEM radio has sound by pressing the FM/AM button.
2. If OEM radio has sound, ensure the correct resolution is set in Settings > Car Settings > Original Car's Screen Resolution.
3. If there is no sound from the OEM radio, check and re-connect the ISO harness and fiber optic cable as shown in Video 4.1.
4. Ensure the AUX cable is properly connected to the armrest box AUX IN connector (Figure 4.3).

7.2 Splash Screen or Incorrect Resolution

If the screen displays a splash screen or incorrect resolution, adjust the original car's screen resolution in the settings.

7.3 Connectivity Issues (CarPlay/Android Auto)

If CarPlay or Android Auto fails to connect, ensure your phone's Bluetooth is paired correctly and that the "Use Car's BT Channel" option is turned off in the system settings to avoid conflicts.

7.4 Unsupported Devices/Formats
