1. Introducció

The KCEVE Dual Monitor DP HDMI KVM Switch allows you to control two computers (PCs) using a single set of keyboard and mouse, while simultaneously sharing two monitors. This device is designed to enhance productivity and reduce desktop clutter by eliminating the need for multiple peripheral sets. It supports high resolutions up to 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz, providing a seamless visual experience for various applications.

3. Instruccions de configuració

Follow these steps to correctly set up your KCEVE Dual Monitor DP HDMI KVM Switch:

1. Connectar l'alimentació: Connect the provided power cable to the KVM switch and then to a power outlet. Ensure the KVM switch is powered on.
2. Connect Monitors to KVM Switch:
   • Connect your primary monitor to the KVM switch's HDMI OUT A port.
   • Connect your secondary monitor to the KVM switch's DP OUT B port.

   Note: Ensure you use high-quality HDMI and DisplayPort cables for optimal performance, especially for 8K resolutions. These cables are typically sold separately.

3. Connect PCs to KVM Switch: For each PC (PC1 and PC2), you will need to connect three cables to the KVM switch:
   • Connect PC1's HDMI output to HDMI IN 1A on the KVM switch.
   • Connect PC1's DisplayPort output to DP IN 1B on the KVM switch.
   • Connect PC1's USB 3.0 port to USB IN 1 on the KVM switch using one of the provided USB 3.0 cables.
   • Repeat the above steps for PC2, connecting its HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB 3.0 outputs to HDMI IN 2A, DP IN 2B, and USB IN 2 respectively on the KVM switch.

4. Connecteu els perifèrics:
   • Connect your USB keyboard and mouse to the dedicated USB 3.0 ports on the KVM switch.
   • Connect any other USB 3.0 devices (e.g., USB flash drives, printers) to the remaining USB 3.0 ports on the KVM switch.
   • Connect the wired remote control to the designated port on the KVM switch for convenient switching.

4.1. Canviar entre PC

You can switch between PC1 and PC2 using one of the following methods:

4.2. Display Modes (Copy/Extended)

The KVM switch supports both copy mode and extended mode for your dual monitor setup. You can typically switch between these modes using your operating system's display settings or a keyboard shortcut:
