4. Configuració

The Activforce2 device operates on a single AAA battery, which typically lasts 6-12 months depending on usage. If not pre-installed, open the battery compartment and insert the AAA battery, observing polarity markings.

5.1. Performing Measurements

• Strength Tests (Dynamometer): The device measures peak force, average force, and range of force up to 200 kg. Attach the device securely using the hand strap, leg strap, or fixation belt with the appropriate pad (round or arched foam) for the body part being tested. Apply force against the device as instructed by your therapist or protocol.
• Range of Motion Tests (Inclinometer): The device measures both Active Range of Motion (AROM) and Passive Range of Motion (PROM). Position the device on the limb or joint according to the specific ROM test protocol.

• Round Pad: General purpose pad for flat or broad surfaces.
• Arched Foam Pad: Designed to better hold and test curved body parts such as wrists and shins.

• The system allows for comparison of right and left symmetry for both strength and range of motion measurements.
