5. Configuració

5.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

  1. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del dispositiu.
  2. Use the provided screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover.
  3. Remove the cover and insert three (3) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Substituïu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria i premeu el cargol.

5.2 Encès/Apagat

  • Per encendre el dispositiu, premeu i manteniu premut el botó Poder button until the display illuminates. The device will perform a brief self-test.
  • Per apagar el dispositiu, manteniu premut el botó Poder botó fins que la pantalla s'apagui.

5.3 Initial Calibration (Zeroing)

For accurate readings, it is crucial to zero-calibrate the device in a fresh air environment before each use or if you suspect inaccurate readings.

  1. Ensure the device is powered on and in an area free of any detectable gases (fresh air).
  2. Premeu el botó ZERO button. The display will show a 'ZERO' indicator, and the device will calibrate itself.
  3. Wait for the calibration process to complete. The 'ZERO' indicator will disappear, and the gas concentration reading should return to zero or a very low value.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Detecció de gasos

  1. After powering on and zero-calibrating the device, extend the flexible 15.7-inch gooseneck probe to the area where a gas leak is suspected.
  2. Move the probe slowly, approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) per second, to scan the area. Pay close attention to joints, connections, valves, and appliance vents.
  3. The display will show real-time gas concentration readings. An increasing reading indicates proximity to a leak source.

6.2 Ajust de sensibilitat

The GD02 offers two sensitivity modes:

  • Premeu SENS-H for High Sensitivity: Ideal for detecting very small leaks or for initial scanning of a large area.
  • Premeu SENS-L for Low Sensitivity: Useful for pinpointing the exact source of a larger leak once a general area has been identified.

6.3 Audible and Visual Alarms

When combustible gas is detected above the preset alarm threshold, the device will:

  • Emit an audible alarm (beeping sound).
  • Display visual indicators on the screen, including the increasing gas concentration value and the analog bar graph.

The alarm frequency and intensity will increase with higher gas concentrations.
