Configuració

1. Baixeu l'aplicació X-Sense Home Security

Download the "X-Sense Home Security" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled for initial pairing.

2. Power the Base Station

Connect the provided power adapter and cable to the SBS50 Base Station and plug it into a power outlet. The base station must remain powered on during setup and operation.

3. Pair the Base Station with the App

Follow the in-app instructions to add the base station. You may need to press a button on the base station for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode (indicated by a flashing yellow light). The base station connects to your home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (5.0 GHz is not supported).

4. Prepare and Pair Water Leak Sensors

The SWS0A water leak sensors come with 2 AAA batteries pre-installed. To activate, ensure the batteries are properly seated. Follow the in-app instructions to add each sensor. You will typically need to press a button on the sensor twice to initiate pairing (indicated by a blue flashing light).

Strategically place your water leak sensors in areas prone to water leaks. Ensure the sensors are placed on a flat surface. Do not place the device upright or on an uneven surface, as this may prevent proper detection or cause false alarms.

Kitchens (under sinks, near dishwashers, refrigerators, ice makers)
Bathrooms (near wash basins, toilets)

Leak Detection and Alerts:

When a water leak is detected by a sensor, the following actions occur:

The LED on the water leak detector will flash red.
The base station will sound an alarm (up to 100 dB).
You will receive an instant app alert on your phone, notifying you of the leak and its location.

To mute an active alarm, you can either use the app or press the button on the back of the water leak sensor. The sensor will remain muted until it is dry.

Manteniment

Each water leak sensor is powered by 2 AAA batteries, which can last up to 3 years. When the battery is low, you will receive an alert via the app. To replace the batteries, carefully remove the 3 screws on the back of the sensor, replace the batteries, and re-secure the cover tightly to maintain its waterproof seal. Using lithium batteries can extend the lifespan to 5 years.

Compatibilitat Wi-Fi: The system is compatible only with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. It is incompatible with 5.0 GHz networks.
Interval de connexió: The wireless connection range is up to 1,700 ft (500 m) in open areas. Obstacles like walls and large appliances can reduce this range. Ensure the base station is centrally located or within reasonable proximity to all sensors.
