Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Traieu tots els materials d'embalatge i assegureu-vos que hi hagi tots els components.
2. Neteja inicial: Before first use, wash the water tank, portafilter, filter baskets, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp tela.
3. Posicionament: Col·loqueu la cafetera sobre una superfície estable, plana i resistent a la calor, allunyada de fonts d'aigua i de calor.
4. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Remove the transparent water tank from the back of the unit. Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the "MAX" line. Replace the tank securely.

5. Primer ús / Imprimació:

   • Turn the control dial to the coffee brewing position (icona de la tassa de cafè). Let water run through until the tank is about half empty. This primes the pump and flushes the system.
   • Turn the control dial to the steam position (icona de vapor) and open the steam knob briefly to release any air from the steam wand. Close the steam knob.
   • Turn the control dial back to the standby position (O icona).
   • Discard the water. Your machine is now ready for use.

Instruccions de funcionament

Elaboració d'espresso

1. Prepareu el portafiltre: Insert the desired filter basket (single or double) into the portafilter. Add finely ground espresso coffee to the basket. Use the measuring scoop to add the correct amount (approx. 7g for single, 14g for double).
2. Tamp el cafè: Utilitzeu la tamper end of the measuring scoop to gently press the coffee grounds evenly. Do not over-tamp.
3. Connecteu el portafiltre: Align the portafilter with the "INSERT" mark on the brew head. Insert it and turn it firmly to the right until it reaches the "LOCK" position.
4. Col·loca la copa: Col·loqueu una o dues tasses d'espresso a la safata de degoteig, directament sota els brocs del portafiltre.
5. Elaboració d'espresso: Ensure the water tank is filled. Turn the control dial to the coffee brewing position (icona de la tassa de cafè). The machine will start brewing.

Escuma de llet per a cappuccinos i lattes

1. Preparar la llet: Ompliu una gerra d'escuma d'acer inoxidable amb llet freda (làctica o no làctica) fins a un terç de la seva capacitat.
2. Heat Up for Steam: After brewing espresso, or if starting fresh, turn the control dial to the steam position (icona de vapor). The steam indicator light will illuminate, indicating the machine is heating up to steam temperature.
3. Vareta de vapor de purga: Once the steam indicator light is steady, open the steam knob briefly to release any condensed water from the wand. Close the knob.
4. Escuma de llet: Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk. Open the steam knob slowly. Move the pitcher up and down gently to create foam. For latte, immerse deeper for less foam.

  • After each use, remove the portafilter, discard used coffee grounds, and rinse the portafilter and filter basket under running water.

• Descalcificació: Over time, mineral deposits can build up in the machine, affecting performance. Descale your coffee maker every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.
  • Use a commercial descaling solution suitable for espresso machines, following the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Alternatively, you can use a solution of white vinegar and water (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water).

  • Run the solution through the machine as if brewing coffee, and also through the steam wand, until the tank is empty.
  • Rinse the tank and fill with fresh water. Run several cycles of fresh water through the machine to flush out any descaling solution residue.
