2. Informació de seguretat

Please read all safety instructions carefully before installing and using the appliance. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Seguretat elèctrica: Ensure the hob is connected to a properly grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
• Seguretat infantil: This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities unless supervised. Keep children away from the hob during operation and when it is cooling down.
• Advertència de superfície calenta: The hob surface will be hot during and after use. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use oven mitts or pot holders.

3. Instal·lació

La instal·lació ha de ser realitzada per un tècnic qualificat d'acord amb les normatives i normes locals.

3.1 Desembalatge

Carefully remove the hob from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.

3.2 Col·locació

The hob is designed for built-in installation into a kitchen countertop. Ensure adequate ventilation space around and beneath the appliance as specified in the installation diagram (not provided in this manual, refer to separate installation guide).

3.3 Connexió elèctrica

The electrical connection must be performed by a qualified electrician. Ensure the mains voltage correspon al voltage indicated on the appliance's rating plate (220-240V AC). The appliance must be connected to the mains supply via an all-pole disconnection switch with a contact separation of at least 3mm.

The hob features a touch-sensitive control panel located at the front. Each cooking zone has dedicated controls for power adjustment. There are also general controls for power ON/OFF, timer, and child lock.

4.2 Encesa/apagada

• To turn on: Touch the main power button (O/I symbol). The indicators will light up.
• To turn off: Touch the main power button again. All cooking zones will switch off.

4.3 Zone Selection and Power Adjustment

• Select a cooking zone by touching its corresponding zone selection button.
• Adjust the power level using the '+' and '-' touch controls or by sliding your finger along the power slider for the selected zone. Power levels typically range from 1 (low) to 9 (high), with a Boost function for rapid heating.

4.4 Funció de temporitzador

The hob features a timer that can be used as a minute minder or to switch off a cooking zone automatically after a set time.

• To set: Select the desired cooking zone, then touch the timer button. Use '+' and '-' to adjust the time.
• When the set time expires, the cooking zone will switch off and an audible signal will sound.

4.5 Característiques de seguretat

• Bloqueig per a nens: Activates to prevent accidental operation. Touch and hold the child lock button to activate/deactivate.
• Indicador de calor residual: After a cooking zone is switched off, an 'H' will appear on the display if the surface is still hot. Do not touch the zone until the 'H' disappears.
• Apagada automàtica de seguretat: If a cooking zone is left on for an extended period without adjustment, it will automatically switch off.

5. Neteja i Manteniment

5.1 Neteja diària

• Assegureu-vos sempre que la placa estigui freda abans de netejar-la.
• Wipe the ceramic glass surface with a soft cloth and warm soapy water.
• Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth to prevent water marks.

5.2 Neteja profunda

• Per a taques difícils o menjar cremat, feu servir un netejador especialitzat per a plaques de vitroceràmica i un rascador de plaques.
• Apply the cleaner as per product instructions, then gently scrape off residues.
• Eviteu netejadors abrasius, fregalls o productes químics agressius, ja que poden danyar la superfície.

5.3 Care for the Ceramic Glass Surface

• Do not drop heavy or sharp objects on the hob surface.
• Avoid dragging rough-bottomed cookware across the surface to prevent scratches.
• Clean up sugar spills immediately while the hob is still warm (but not hot) using a scraper, as sugar can permanently pit the glass.
