5. Configuració i instal·lació

The Nilight electric boat winch is designed for easy installation with a tool-free, slide-on 2-inch hitch mounting plate. This allows for quick attachment to any 2-inch ball hitch receiver.

5.1 Muntatge del cabrestant

  1. Attach the mounting plate to your 2-inch ball hitch receiver.
  2. Slide the winch onto the mounting plate, ensuring it is securely fastened. The hanging board design allows for assembly and rescue in approximately 1 minute without fixed installation.
  3. Confirm all connections are tight and secure before proceeding.

5.2 Connexió d'alimentació

Connect the provided power cable to a 12V DC power source, such as a vehicle battery. Ensure proper polarity: red to positive (+) and black to negative (-). The power cable is designed with a waterproof sealed plug for safer operation.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

The Nilight winch offers dual-direction electric winching (power in, power out) and a freewheel operation mode. It can be controlled via wireless remote, wired remote, or manually with the hand crank.

6.1 Electric Operation (Wireless/Wired Remote)

  1. Ensure the winch is powered and securely mounted.
  2. Connect the wired remote control or ensure the wireless remote has fresh batteries and is paired.
  3. To pull the cable in, press the "IN" button on the remote.
  4. To release the cable, press the "OUT" button on the remote.
  5. The winch features an automatic braking system for secure holding of the load.

6.2 Freewheel Operation

To quickly unspool the cable without using motor power, engage the freewheel clutch. This allows the cable to be pulled out manually. Refer to the winch unit for the specific clutch engagement mechanism. Ensure the clutch is fully re-engaged before applying power to pull a load.

6.3 Manual Operation (Hand Crank)

In emergency situations or when electric power is unavailable, the winch can be operated manually using the provided hand crank.

  1. Attach the hand crank to the designated shaft on the winch.
  2. Turn the hand crank clockwise to pull the cable in, and counter-clockwise to release it.

8. Solució De Problemes

  • Winch Not Operating:
    • Check power connections to ensure they are secure and properly polarized.
    • Verify the 12V DC power source is providing adequate voltage.
    • Ensure remote control batteries are functional or the wired remote is properly connected.
    • Check for any tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses in the power supply line.
  • Winch Operating Slowly or Weakly:
    • The load may exceed the winch's rated capacity. Reduce the load or use a snatch block to increase pulling power.
