This section outlines the general steps for installation. Due to the complexity and vehicle-specific nature, detailed wiring diagrams and specific instructions should be followed by a professional installer.

3.1 Ignition Cylinder and Factory Key PCB Preparation

The installation requires the removal of the vehicle's ignition cylinder and soldering connections to it. Additionally, the PCB from the original factory key must be disassembled and soldered to the system's convert PCB.

  • Remove the ignition cylinder from the vehicle.
  • Solder wires from the system to the ignition cylinder PCB, specifically from P1 to P10. Avoid soldering to P7 and P8.
  • Disassemble the factory key and solder its PCB to the system's convert PCB.
  • Connect the yellow wire from the convert PCB to the other white wire from the main wire harness.

Connect the main wire harness to the vehicle's electrical system. Specific connections include CAN H/L wires and other power/signal wires.

  • Connect the orange CAN H wire to the car's brown/red CAN H wire.
  • Connect the orange/black CAN L wire to the car's brown CAN L wire.
  • Alternatively, for CAN BUS connection method 2, connect to pin 43 (gray CAN L) and pin 42 (gray-red CAN H) near the footbrake pedal.
  • Wire the bypass module by soldering to the factory OEM key's PCB for functions like lock, unlock, and trunk release.

  • Install PKE antennas in designated locations (P3, P4 in diagram).

  • Hold the factory push start button for 3 seconds to start the car.

  • Hold the lock button on the key fob for 3 seconds to test the remote start function.

4.1 Remote Key Fob Functions

  • Lock/Arm/Panic Mode: Press the lock button once to lock the doors and arm the alarm. Press and hold for panic mode.

4.2 Passive Keyless Entry (PKE)

The PKE feature automatically locks or unlocks your car doors as you approach or walk away from the vehicle with the key fob.

4.5 Panic Mode

Activate the panic mode to sound the alarm and flash the lights, which can be used to locate your car in a crowded parking lot or as a deterrent.

4.6 Optional Smartphone App Control & 4G LTE GPS Tracking

This system can be upgraded with smartphone app control and 4G LTE GPS tracking capabilities by purchasing an additional GPS002-AA 4G LTE module. This module allows you to control your car remotely via a smartphone application and track its location.

5. Manteniment

  • Key Fob Battery: Replace key fob batteries annually or when the range decreases significantly. Refer to the key fob's specific instructions for battery type and replacement procedure.
