1. Introducció

The OLIGHT Ostation X is an intelligent 3-in-1 device designed to charge, test, and store up to 32 AA NiMH batteries. This system streamlines battery management, ensuring your rechargeable batteries are organized, ready for use, and maintained for optimal performance. It features polarity-free insertion, app control, and automatic detection and removal of incompatible or faulty batteries.

2. Configuració

2.1 Desembalatge i col·locació inicial

Carefully remove the Ostation X from its packaging. Place the unit on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the device.

The Ostation X features a polarity-free design. Simply drop AA NiMH batteries into the top compartment. The device can handle up to 32 batteries, charging and organizing them automatically. For optimal charging speed, distribute batteries evenly across the four channels in the top compartment.

4. Manteniment

4.1 Cleaning Battery Terminals

If batteries are frequently rejected or sent to the invalid bin, ensure their terminals are clean. Dirty or corroded surfaces can interfere with proper detection and charging. Use a clean, dry cloth to gently wipe the battery terminals before inserting them into the charger.

4.2 Neteja general

Wipe the exterior of the Ostation X with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water. Ensure the sliding dust cover is kept clean to prevent debris from entering the charging mechanism.

5.1 Good Batteries in the Invalid Bin

The Ostation X has a battery identification accuracy of 99.5%. If a good battery is sent to the invalid bin, it may be due to dirty or corroded terminals. Clean the battery terminals and re-insert the battery into the charger.

5.2 Device Not Functioning / Yellow Indicator

If the device does not function or the indicator turns yellow, ensure you are using a PD-compatible charger that outputs at least 12V & 1.5A. An insufficient power supply will prevent the device from operating correctly.

5.3 Last 20% of Charge Takes Longer

To protect battery health and extend lifespan, the charging speed automatically slows down after reaching 80% capacity. This is a normal function and not an indication of a fault.

5.4 Noise in Fast Charging Mode

The cooling fan activates during fast charging mode to manage heat. This is normal. If the noise is disruptive, consider using standard charging mode or setting a non-charging time via the app.

5.5 App Requirement

The OLIGHT app is required for monitoring charging status, controlling various settings, and receiving important firmware updates for the Ostation X.
