1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe operation, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your iScooter iX8 Electric Scooter. 2. Informació de seguretat

Operating an electric scooter carries inherent risks. To minimize these risks, always adhere to the following safety guidelines:

• Always wear a helmet and appropriate protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads, gloves) when riding.

4. Configuració i preparació inicial

The iScooter iX8 arrives approximately 90% pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly and initial preparation:

5. Càrrega inicial de la bateria: Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the scooter's charging port and then to a power outlet. The charging indicator on the charger will change color (e.g., red to green) when fully charged. New batteries typically reach optimal range after the second full charge cycle.

5.1 Engegada/Apagada i Visualització

To power on the scooter, press and hold the power button on the Smart LCD screen. Press and hold again to power off. The display shows speed, battery level, and other riding information.

5.2 Speed Modes and Dual Motor Control

The iX8 features dual 1200W motors and multiple speed settings. You can switch between single and dual-drive modes. Speed options range up to 61 km/h in dual-drive mode. Use the control keyboard to select your desired speed mode (e.g., ECO, RACE, SPORT) and motor configuration.

5.3 Sistema de frenada

The scooter is equipped with dual disc brakes and electronic cut-off brakes for reliable stopping power. Always apply brakes smoothly and gradually to avoid sudden stops, especially at higher speeds or on uneven terrain.

5.4 Lighting and Turn Signals

The iX8 includes a bright U5 headlight, integrated turn signals, colorful deck side lights, and a rear safety tail light. Ensure all lights are on when riding in low-light conditions or at night. Use the turn signal button to indicate your direction changes.

5.5 Mecanisme de plegat

For storage and transport, the iX8 features a quick folding mechanism. To fold, ensure the scooter is powered off. Locate the folding latch/lever on the steering column, release it, and carefully fold the column down towards the deck until it locks into its folded position. Reverse the process to unfold.

5.6 Riding on Various Terrains

Equipped with 12-inch off-road pneumatic tires and dual suspension, the iX8 is designed to handle a variety of surfaces. While capable on rough trails, exercise caution and reduce speed when riding on uneven, slippery, or loose terrain.

6. Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your iX8 scooter:

• Neteja: Netegeu el patinet amb anunciamp drap. No utilitzeu aigua a alta pressió ni submergiu el patinet en aigua.
• Cura de la bateria:
  • Carregueu la bateria regularment, fins i tot si no l'esteu fent servir, per mantenir-ne el bon estat.

  • Store the scooter in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods, with the battery charged to about 50-70%.
