2. Informació de seguretat

Sempre seguiu les precaucions de seguretat quan utilitzeu qualsevol equip de prova elèctrica. Si no ho feu, podeu patir descàrregues elèctriques, lesions o danys al mesurador o a l'equip que s'està provant.

• No supereu els valors d'entrada màxims especificats per a cada rang.
• Ensure the test leads are properly connected and the function switch is set to the correct range before making any measurements.
• No utilitzeu el mesurador si sembla danyat o si els cables de prova estan danyats.
• Aneu amb extrema precaució quan treballeu amb voltagper sobre de 30 V CA RMS, 42 V pic o 60 V CC. Aquests voltagsuposen un risc de xoc.
• Desconnecteu sempre l'alimentació del circuit i descarregueu totes les emissions d'alt volum.tagcondensadors abans de mesurar la resistència, la continuïtat, els díodes o la capacitància.

3. Configuració i instal·lació de la bateria

The Proster Digital Multimeter comes with all necessary accessories for immediate use, including test leads, alligator clips, a screwdriver, and AAA batteries.

3.1 Desembalatge i inspecció

Upon receiving your multimeter, carefully unpack all components and inspect them for any signs of damage. The package should contain:

• Proster Digital Multimeter (Model PST316-US)

• Two Fuses (Spares)

3.2 Instal·lació de la bateria

The multimeter requires 3 AAA batteries. If not pre-installed, follow these steps:

1. Assegureu-vos que el multímetre estigui apagat.
2. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior de la unitat.
3. Use the provided screwdriver to loosen the screw securing the battery cover.
4. Traieu la tapa de la bateria.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

This section details the operation of the Proster Digital Multimeter for various measurement functions.

4.1 Funcionament general

• Encès/apagat: Rotate the central dial to any function to turn the meter on. Rotate to "OFF" to turn it off.

4.2 Funcions de mesura específiques

4.2.1 voltagMesura (CA/CC)

Per mesurar voltage:

1. Insert the red test lead into the "VΩHz" jack and the black test lead into the "COM" jack.
2. Rotate the dial to the "V~" (AC Voltage) o "V-" (Volumen de CCtage) posició.

4.2.2 Vol. sense contactetage (NCV) Detecció

The NCV function allows for safe detection of live AC voltage sense contacte directe amb els conductors.

1. Rotate the dial to the "NCV" position.
2. Move the top tip of the multimeter close to the object suspected of having AC voltage (e.g., an electrical outlet, insulated wire).
3. The meter will emit an audible beep and the NCV indicator will light up if AC voltage is detected. The frequency of beeps and light intensity will increase with stronger signals.

4.2.3 Mesura de la temperatura

Per mesurar la temperatura:

1. Insert the temperature probe into the appropriate jacks (usually VΩHz and COM, or dedicated temperature jacks if present and indicated by the jack reminder).
2. Rotate the dial to the "°C/°F" temperature position.
3. Col·loqueu la punta de la sonda de temperatura sobre o dins de l'objecte la temperatura del qual es vol mesurar.
4. Llegiu el valor de la temperatura a la pantalla.

4.2.4 Other Functions (Current, Resistance, Capacitance, Diode, Continuity, HFE, LoZ)

For other measurements, rotate the dial to the corresponding function. Always ensure the test leads are connected to the correct input jacks as indicated by the "Jack Reminder" feature.

• Current (A~ / A-): For current measurements, the meter must be connected in series with the circuit. Ensure the correct current input jack (mA or 10A) is used and the circuit is de-energized before connecting.
• Resistència (Ω): Measure resistance only on de-energized circuits.
• Capacitat (F): Discharge capacitors before measuring.

3. Locate the fuse(s) inside the compartment.
4. Carefully remove the old fuse and insert a new one.

5.3 Substitució de la bateria

6. Solució De Problemes

If the multimeter is not functioning as expected, review the following common issues before seeking professional assistance.
