1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your NINETOM 10.25-inch Touchscreen Wireless CarPlay Android Auto Multimedia Car Radio Receiver. This device is specifically designed for Mercedes Benz E-Class W212 models (2013-2015) equipped with NTG4.5/4.7 systems. 2. Compatibilitat

This touchscreen unit is compatible with Mercedes Benz E-Class W212 vehicles manufactured between 2013 and 2015, specifically those equipped with the NTG4.5 or NTG4.7 system. It is not compatible with NTG4.0, NTG5.0, NTG5.1, or NTG5.2 systems.

If unsure, manually test resolutions until the display is correct.

5.2 Bluetooth Audio Setup for CarPlay/Android Auto

To ensure audio from CarPlay or Android Auto plays through your car's speakers, you need to configure the Bluetooth settings. First, connect your phone to the original car's Bluetooth system. Then, within the NINETOM unit's settings, enable the "Use Car's BT Channel" option and disable "AUX Auto Switch". Finally, connect your phone to the NINETOM unit's Bluetooth for CarPlay/Android Auto audio.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Canvi entre sistemes

To switch between the NINETOM Linux system and the original vehicle system, long-press the 'OEM Car Info' button. This allows free switching while retaining all original car functions.

6.2 Connexió CarPlay sense fil

To connect to Wireless CarPlay, ensure the "CarPlay" option is enabled in the Smart Phone settings. Then, search for the device's Bluetooth name (CAR-BT-XXXX) on your iPhone, pair it, and confirm the authorization request. Once connected, CarPlay will launch automatically.

6.3 Wireless AirPlay Connection

To connect to Wireless AirPlay, ensure the "AirPlay" option is enabled in the Smart Phone settings. Then, search for the device's WiFi name (CAR-XXXX) on your iPhone, connect to it (password "66668888" if prompted), and select "AirPlay" in the Screen Mirroring menu from your iPhone.

• No Audio from CarPlay/Android Auto: Verify your phone is connected to the original car's Bluetooth, "Use Car's BT Channel" is ON, and "AUX Auto Switch" is OFF in the NINETOM unit's settings.
• CarPlay/Android Auto no es connecta: Check that WiFi and Bluetooth are enabled on your phone and the NINETOM unit. Re-pair the Bluetooth connection if necessary.
• Unit Freezing: The Linux system is designed for stability. If freezing occurs, try restarting the unit. Ensure firmware is up to date.
