1. Introducció

The Phillips Aruma Digital Smart Lock offers a secure and convenient access solution for homes and offices. This lock features multiple entry methods including fingerprint, password, proximity card, and mechanical key. Designed for both metal and wooden doors, it accommodates door thicknesses from 35 mm to 80 mm and adjustable backsets of 60 mm or 70 mm. It is suitable for both left and right-hand hinged doors. The lock operates on 4 AA alkaline batteries and includes an emergency 5V port and mechanical key override for power failures. It is rated IP54 for mild weather resistance.

Please read these instructions carefully before beginning installation. It is recommended to install the lock with the door open. Do not close your door until the batteries are inserted and the lock is fully tested.

Passos clau d'instal·lació:

1. Prepara la porta: Ensure your door meets the specified thickness (35-80mm) and bore hole backset (60mm or 70mm).

3. Adjust Handle Direction (Front Panel): If necessary, adjust the direction of the handle on the front panel by rotating it to the left or right.
4. Instal·leu el panell frontal: Slide the lock spindle and wire connector through the door holes. Secure the front panel to the door.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

The Phillips Aruma Digital Smart Lock offers multiple ways to unlock your door:

5.1. Accés per empremta digital

5.2. Accés amb contrasenya

1. Toqueu el teclat numèric per activar-lo.
2. Enter your registered password followed by the '#' key.

5.3. Proximity Card Access

1. Place your registered proximity card against the card reader area on the lock.
2. The lock will read the card and unlock if authorized.

5.4. Mechanical Key Access

1. Insert the mechanical key into the keyhole located at the bottom of the handle.
2. Turn the key to unlock the door. This method is primarily for emergency use.

5.5. Auto-Lock Setting

The auto-lock function is disabled by default. To enable or configure it:

1. Press the 'X' button twice to activate the keypad.
2. Enter your master PIN code and press the '✓' button once.
3. Press '7' to enter the auto-lock setting menu.
4. Choose your desired auto-lock delay:
   • Press '1' then '✓' to disable auto-lock.
   • Press '2' then '✓' for 30 seconds delay.
   • Press '3' then '✓' for 60 seconds delay.
   • Press '4' then '✓' for 120 seconds delay.
   • Press '5' then '✓' for 180 seconds delay.

6. Manteniment

6.1. Substitució de la bateria

When the batteries are low, the lock will provide an audible or visual alert. Replace all four AA alkaline batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Use the emergency 5V port with a power bank if the batteries die completely before replacement.

6.2. Neteja
