The casDMX is a Bluetooth controllable, Casambi enabled 12-channel DMX-512 master dimmer. It is designed to drive one DMX-512 universe, connecting to DMX enabled lighting devices and fixtures. The unit operates with a 12-24 VDC Class 2 power supply and provides a non-isolated DMX-512 universe.
The casDMX can control luminaires using Casambi color widgets and up to 12 DMX channels utilizing Casambi sliders in Evolution mode. 2. Configuració i instal·lació

Connect the casDMX to a 12-24 VDC Class 2 power supply. Ensure the power supply is stable and provides the correct voltage. Do not use a constant current LED driver. Make sure the cable polarity is correct.
2.2 DMX Wiring
The casDMX provides a 3-wire non-isolated DMX-512 output. Connect the DMX+ and DMX- terminals to your DMX-enabled lighting devices. The RETURN terminal is for the DMX ground connection. Ensure proper wiring and polarity for all DMX connections.

2.3 Entorn d'instal·lació
The casDMX should not be placed in metal enclosures, such as metal junction boxes, as metal can attenuate radio signals. If installation in a junction box is necessary, use a plastic junction box to maintain optimal radio performance. The product is designed to be used with a Class 2 power supply with a maximum output power of 100 VA. All installations must comply with National Electric Code requirements.

3.1 Casambi App Control
Control the casDMX using the official Casambi app, available for download on the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) and Google Play Store (for Android devices). The app allows for configuration, scene creation, and real-time control of DMX channels.
3.2 Channel Modes
- 4-channel: Standard Casambi color functions are available for basic color control.
- 8-channel: Standard Casambi slider functions provide more granular control.
- 12-channel: Sliders are available when operating in Evolution mode, offering advanced control capabilities.
These modes allow the casDMX to effectively manage RGBW and tunable white (TW) lighting applications.
3.3 Network Functionality
Casambi utilizes mesh network technology, where each casDMX unit acts as a node. This allows for automatic formation of an intelligent mesh network, supporting up to 250 units for comprehensive light control. Ensure all units are within range for optimal network performance.
3.4 Radio Range
The effective radio range between two casDMX units or between a casDMX and a smartphone can vary. In an open-air environment, the range can be up to 200 feet. However, if the unit is enclosed in a metal structure, the range will be significantly reduced. Thorough testing of the radio range is recommended for specific installation environments.

5. Manteniment
