Familiarize yourself with the components of your HIBREW H4D espresso maker:

1. Press Lever: Used to manually pump and generate pressure for extraction.

Dual Brewing System

The H4D is designed for 2-in-1 compatibility. It comes with a Nes Pod Adapter for capsules and a Ground Coffee Filter Basket for loose grounds. Ensure you use the correct component for your desired brewing method.

Instruccions de funcionament

Per al cafè mòlt:

1. Preparar el cafè: Use 8-10g of fine grind coffee. Fill the Ground Coffee Filter Basket and tamp lleugerament.
2. Muntar: Place the filled filter basket into the brewing chamber.
3. Afegir aigua calenta: Unscrew the water tank cover. Pour hot water (optimal temperature 195-205°F / 90-96°C) into the water tank, up to the 80ml MAX line. Securely screw the water tank cover back on.
4. Extracte d'espresso: Unlock the press lever by twisting it. Position the H4D over the integrated coffee cup. Begin pumping the lever slowly and steadily to extract the espresso. Continue until no more coffee is dispensed.
5. Gaudeix: Your fresh espresso is ready.

For Nes Original Pods:

1. Inserir càpsula: Place one Nes Original Pod into the Nes Pod Adapter.
2. Muntar: Insert the adapter with the pod into the brewing chamber.
3. Afegir aigua calenta: Unscrew the water tank cover. Pour hot water (optimal temperature 195-205°F / 90-96°C) into the water tank, up to the 80ml MAX line. Securely screw the water tank cover back on.

1. Desmuntar: After each use, turn counterclockwise to open and separate all components (water tank cover, pump, water tank, brewing chamber, adapter, coffee cup).
2. Esbandida: Rinse all components under running water for approximately 30 seconds. Pay special attention to the brewing chamber and adapter to remove any coffee residue.

Resolució de problemes

• Weak Espresso/Too Fast Flow:
  - Ensure coffee grounds are fine enough. For ground coffee, a finer grind is usually required for espresso.
  - Check that the coffee is properly tamped (for ground coffee) to create sufficient resistance.
• No Espresso/Too Slow Flow:
  - Coffee grounds might be too fine or tamped too hard. Try a slightly coarser grind or lighter tamp.
  - Ensure the water tank is filled with enough water.
• Fuga:
  - Check that all components are securely screwed together.
  - Inspect O-rings for damage or improper seating. Replace if necessary (spare O-rings may be included).
