  1. Hold the harness by the dorsal D-ring. Shake the harness to allow all straps to fall into place.
  2. Separate the leg straps and step through them one at a time.
  3. Pull the shoulder straps over your shoulders, ensuring they are not twisted.
  4. Connect the chest strap, ensuring it is positioned across the mid-chest area.
  5. Connect the leg straps, ensuring they are snug but not overly tight.

5.1 Fall Arrest Connection

Connect your fall arrest lanyard or self-retracting lifeline (SRL) only to the dorsal D-ring. Ensure the connection is secure and compatible with the D-ring. Always maintain a 100% tie-off when moving between anchor points.

5.2 Positioning Connection

For work positioning, connect your positioning lanyard to the side D-rings on the waist belt. Positioning systems are designed to support a worker at a work location and prevent a free fall. They are not designed for fall arrest. Always ensure a separate fall arrest system is in place when using a positioning system.

5.3 Lanyard Keeper Use

The auto-resetting lanyard keepers on the shoulder straps are for temporarily parking unused lanyard legs. This prevents the lanyard from dangling and creating a trip hazard. The keepers are designed to release the lanyard automatically during a fall event.
