3. Configuració i instal·lació
Follow these steps to set up your Indesit PAI29COW Portable Air Conditioner. No external unit is required.
3.1 Desembalatge
- Traieu amb cura l'aire condicionat i tots els accessoris de l'embalatge.
- Conserveu l'embalatge per a futurs emmagatzematges o transports.
- Inspeccioneu la unitat per detectar qualsevol signe de danys. Si està danyada, no la feu funcionar i poseu-vos en contacte amb el servei d'atenció al client.
3.2 Col·locació de la unitat
- Place the unit on a firm, level surface near a window or door for exhaust hose installation.
- Assegureu-vos que hi hagi almenys 30 cm (12 polzades) d'espai lliure al voltant de la unitat per a un flux d'aire adequat.
- No col·loqueu la unitat a la llum solar directa ni a prop de fonts de calor.
3.3 Instal·lació de la mànega d'escapament
The exhaust hose expels hot air from the room. Proper installation is crucial for efficient cooling.
- Attach one end of the exhaust hose to the air outlet on the back of the unit. Twist clockwise until secure.
- Extend the exhaust hose to the nearest window or door. The hose is 1.5 meters long and 12.5 cm in diameter.
- Use the provided window installation kit to seal the opening around the hose, preventing hot air from re-entering the room.
- Ensure the hose is as straight and short as possible to maximize efficiency. Avoid sharp bends or kinks.

3.4 Connexió d'alimentació
- Plug the power cord into a grounded 240 Volt electrical outlet.

4. Instruccions de funcionament
Your Indesit PAI29COW can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

The control panel features a digital display and touch-sensitive buttons for various functions:
- Botó d'encesa: Encén o apaga la unitat.
- Botó de mode: Cycles through operating modes (Cooling, Dehumidify, Fan).
- Botons per pujar/baixar la temperatura: Ajusta la temperatura desitjada.
- Botó de velocitat: Ajusta la velocitat del ventilador (Baixa, Mitjana, Alta).
- Timer/Sleep Button: Activates the timer function or Sleep mode.
4.2 Control remot

The remote control provides access to all functions of the air conditioner from a distance.
- POTÈNCIA: Encén o apaga la unitat.
- Mode: Selects operating mode (Cooling, Dehumidify, Fan).
- TEMP+ / TEMP-: Ajusta la temperatura desitjada.
- VELOCITAT: Ajusta la velocitat del ventilador.
- DORMIR: Activates Sleep mode.
- TEMPORIZADOR: Sets the auto ON/OFF timer.
4.3 Modes de funcionament
- Mode de refrigeració: Provides rapid and effective cooling. Set your desired temperature using the TEMP+ / TEMP- buttons.
- Mode de deshumidificació: Reduces humidity in the air without significant cooling. The fan speed is typically fixed in this mode.
- Mode de ventilador: Circulates air without cooling. You can adjust the fan speed.
4.4 Funcions especials
- Timer (24h): Program the unit to automatically turn ON or OFF within a 24-hour period. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full manual for setting the timer.
- Sleep Mode (Dolce Sonno): Reduces noise levels and gradually adjusts the temperature for comfortable sleep.

- Autorestart: In case of a power interruption, the unit will automatically resume operation with the last settings once power is restored.
5. Manteniment
Un manteniment regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i allarga la vida útil del vostre aire condicionat. Desendolleu sempre la unitat abans de realitzar qualsevol manteniment.
5.1 Neteja del filtre d'aire
The Indesit PAI29COW is equipped with an electrostatic filter. Clean the air filter every two weeks, or more frequently if the unit is used in a dusty environment.
- Apagueu i desconnecteu l'aire condicionat.
- Locate the air filter panel (usually at the back or side of the unit).
- Traieu el filtre.
- Clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner to remove dust, or wash it gently with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow the filter to air dry completely before re-installing.
- Re-insert the dry filter into the unit and close the panel.
5.2 Escorregut d'aigua condensada
During cooling and dehumidifying operations, water condenses inside the unit. The unit has a self-evaporating system, but in high humidity conditions, the water tank may fill up.
- When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an indicator (refer to the full manual for specific indicator).
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drain outlet (usually at the bottom rear of the unit).

5.3 Neteja de l'exterior de la unitat
- Netegeu l'exterior de la unitat amb un damp tela.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents, as these can damage the surface.
5.4 Emmagatzematge
Si emmagatzema la unitat durant un període prolongat:
- Escorreu completament tota l'aigua condensada.
- Netegeu el filtre d'aire.
- Desendolleu la unitat i enrotlleu el cable d'alimentació amb cura.
- Guardeu la unitat en un lloc fresc i sec, preferiblement en el seu embalatge original.
