1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your RAINPOINT 4-Zone Sprinkler Timer. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper function and longevity of the device. This timer is designed to automate watering for up to four distinct zones in your garden or lawn.

3.1 Components

• Pantalla LCD: Shows current time, programming settings, and battery status.
• Multi-function Dial: Used to navigate between settings (SET CLOCK, START TIME, HOW LONG, HOW OFTEN, ON, OFF, VIEW).
• Botons: '+', '-', 'OK/MANUAL', 'ZONE', 'DELAY'.

4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Localitza el compartiment de les piles a la part posterior del temporitzador.
2. Feu lliscar la tapa de la bateria oberta.
3. Introduïu 4 piles alcalines AA noves, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-).

4.2 Muntatge del temporitzador

The timer should be installed vertically to ensure proper operation and prevent water from entering the electronic components. The product is approximately 2.2 pounds, and a metal rod is included for stable mounting.

1. Attach the timer's water inlet to your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten only.
2. If your faucet is low to the ground, ensure there is enough space below the timer to connect the four output hoses.
3. Use the provided metal rod and screw to secure the timer to a stable surface (e.g., a wooden post or wall) to prevent it from falling due to weight or water pressure.

4.3 Connexió de mànegues

1. Connect your garden hoses to the four individual outlets at the bottom of the timer.
2. Ensure each hose is securely attached to prevent leaks.

5.1 Configuració de l'hora actual

1. Gireu el dial a CONFIGURA EL RELOJ.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the current time (12-hour or 24-hour format).
3. Premeu D'acord/MANUAL per confirmar.

5.2 Programming Watering Schedules (Automatic Mode)

Each of the four zones can be programmed independently. Only one zone valve can be open at a time. Setting repetitive working times for multiple zones simultaneously may cause issues.

1. Gireu el dial a HORA D'INICI. Use '+' and '-' to set the desired start time for watering. Press D'acord/MANUAL per confirmar.
2. Gireu el dial a QUANT TEMPS. Use '+' and '-' to set the watering duration (from 1 minute to 3 hours 59 minutes). Press D'acord/MANUAL per confirmar.
3. Gireu el dial a QUANT FREQUENT. Use '+' and '-' to set the watering frequency (every 1-12 hours, or every 1-7 days). Press D'acord/MANUAL per confirmar.
4. To program another zone, press the ZONA button and repeat steps 1-3 for the next zone.
5. Once all desired zones are programmed, turn the dial to ON to activate the automatic watering schedule.

5.3 Funció de retard per pluja

The rain delay function allows you to pause your watering schedule for a set period to avoid overwatering during rainy weather.

3. Use the '+' or '-' buttons to select a delay period of 24, 48, or 72 hours.
4. Premeu D'acord/MANUAL to confirm the rain delay. The timer will resume its schedule after the selected delay period.

5.4 Reg manual

Manual watering allows you to water immediately without interrupting your programmed schedule.

1. Assegureu-vos que el dial estigui configurat a ON.
2. Manteniu premut el botó D'acord/MANUAL botó.
3. Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the desired manual watering duration (from 1 minute to 8 hours).
4. Premeu el botó ZONA button to select which zone(s) to water manually.
5. Premeu D'acord/MANUAL per iniciar el reg manual. El temporitzador s'aturarà automàticament després de la durada configurada.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Substitució de la bateria

When the low power indicator flashes on the display, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 4.1. Prompt battery replacement prevents the valves from closing unexpectedly and interrupting watering schedules.

6.2 Neteja

Periodically check the water inlet filter for debris. Remove and rinse the filter under running water if it appears clogged. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on the timer.

6.3 Hivernització

Before the first frost, remove the timer from the faucet. Drain any remaining water from the unit and store it in a dry, frost-free location indoors. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
