Introducció

This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of your UltraPro 800 Series Z-Wave Dimmer (Model 76602). This in-wall smart dimmer is designed to control lighting through Z-Wave compatible hubs, offering both manual and smart home control capabilities.

The dimmer supports Z-Wave Plus Long Range technology for extended wireless communication and is compatible with various Z-Wave certified hubs, including those that integrate with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control.

Instal·lació (Configuració)

Before beginning, ensure the power is OFF at the circuit breaker. This device is designed for use with permanently installed fixtures only. Do not use with portable lamps.

Requisits de cablejat:

• For 3-way installations without an add-on switch, a hot line must be present at both switch locations. If this is not the case, an UltraPro add-on switch is required for multi-location control.
• Color-coded flying leads are provided for wiring. Use wire nuts to secure connections.

Passos d'instal·lació:

1. Turn OFF Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the switch you are replacing and turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltage provador.

The QuickFit design reduces housing depth to 1.13 inches, making it easier to fit into standard electrical boxes. The dimmer uses flying leads instead of screw terminals, which may require additional wire nuts for connections.

Funcionament

Control manual:

• ON/OFF: Press the top of the rocker switch to turn the connected light ON. Press the bottom of the rocker switch to turn the connected light OFF.
• Dimecres: Press and hold the top of the rocker switch to increase brightness. Press and hold the bottom of the rocker switch to decrease brightness. Release the switch when the desired brightness level is reached.

Control intel·ligent:

Once successfully paired with a Z-Wave hub, you can control the dimmer remotely via your hub's app, set schedules, and integrate with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

Inclusió/exclusió Z-Wave

Follow your Z-Wave hub's instructions for adding or removing devices. The process typically involves putting your hub into inclusion/exclusion mode and then performing an action on the dimmer.

To Add (Include) the Dimmer:

1. Place your Z-Wave controller into inclusion mode.
2. Press the top or bottom of the dimmer's rocker switch once. The LED indicator will flash to confirm inclusion mode.
3. The controller will confirm successful inclusion.

To Remove (Exclude) the Dimmer:

1. Place your Z-Wave controller into exclusion mode.
2. Press the top or bottom of the dimmer's rocker switch once. The LED indicator will flash to confirm exclusion mode.
3. The controller will confirm successful exclusion.

Funcions avançades

LED Indicator Customization:

The dimmer features a customizable LED indicator. Refer to your Z-Wave hub's documentation or the UltraPro support website for specific instructions on how to change the LED color (eight options) and operation mode (four options).

Multi-Switch Dimming:

For multi-location control with full dimming functionality, pair the 76602 dimmer with up to four UltraPro add-on switches. For basic ON/OFF control from a second location, a standard three-way switch can be used. Ensure proper wiring as described in the installation section.

  • If using an add-on switch, ensure it is a compatible UltraPro add-on switch and wired correctly.
